Very nice hotel in pastoral beautiful settings. Very comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Very close to interesting beautiful borghi - Sutri, Capranica, Nepi and others.
We will be glad to return and stay for a longer period to explore the area.

it was clean and tidy, Luca the owner was very responsive and quick with his replies. he was very helpful with our late evening arrival, even contacting a local restaurant to ensure we could get a quick bite to eat.
A light breakfast, toast , bread, coffee, milk and bottled water was provided which given our circumstances was very welcome.
Luca spoke very good English, and he was happy to converse having spent some time in Sussex.
I will no doubt return as there is family matters to sort and Luca’s place will be at the top of the list.
Hopefully I haven’t shot myself in the foot with this review and it isn’t fully booked when I try to book on my next visit 😂

We were on the Via Francigena walking to Rome and as we had done a shorter day's walk we were able to check out the archaeology. The Etruscan and Roman remains and the church in the cave were very interesting. The town is also very picturesque and we took advantage of the bar and the ice cream parlour in the square by the old gateway. It was very peaceful and car free with the old fountain. We ate at the Sfero d'Oro also in that square and particularly enjoyed the tasty ravioli.
Great place to stay right in the heart of Sutri. It felt like home from home and the welcoming touch of a bottle of wine and tozzetti, was lovely. As I arrived late, the flexibility of check in, really helped after a long day's travel. Amazing wifi connection and the location was perfect. Jill also made me feel at home and offered the right amount of help. And made great suggestions for eating out and about the bean festival. Plus travelling around on the buses. The bed was really super comfortable, just right.
Fabrazio was a welcoming host and Palazzo Fortebracci was very close to the main piazza, easy to walk to all the attractions of Sutri. Interiors were warm,spacious, comfortable, light and decorated with gorgeous furniture. we had the room which looked onto the main street. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, yogurt and all the traditional pastries and breads of a typical italian breakfast. We stayed one night and Sutri is a beautiful small medieval town with small streets to explore and an excellent museum
A house in the old town. When you've read the comments then you know that you get a room in the house where the owner and his dog (a very sage rather old dog) also lives. The (big) bathroom is shared with the other room. Very clean. Friendly owner who speaks very good English. He likes to prepare you a dinner in the evening. In the morning you get a cup of coffee and biscuits. He arranged a luggage transfer for me to the next hotel, so I could carry-on the via Francigena with al light small backpack.
This is more a suite than a room! Very spacious, very well equipped with a kitchenette. Ideal for couples and also for young families, thanks to the additional sofa - bed. Spotlessly clean with close attention to detail and wonderfully cool as it is built in to the tufo at the base of Sutri. It is just opposite the archeological park and the walk up to the piazza is short and beautifully picturesque! Thank you Chloe and Federico! Our stay was brief but very, very sweet!
Really great place with a great host. Easily the best value for money I had on the Via Francigena, with a sizeable apartment just for me. Maybe not the most prettily styled, but very comfortable and everything you could need is there. It's in the middle of the small town, which is great, though when I stayed most restaurants in Sutri happened to be closed. Definitely stay a night extra here to take in some of the great sites that are just a 15 min walk away.
We scored 20 locations during our walk of the Via Francigena, and this location was clearly number 1. THE WINNER: tranquility, easy access, nice breakfast offering, excellent kitchen, very nice washer, stores and restaurants nearby, 2 bathrooms, ventilation (fans), Truly our best stay during our Francigena walk. The city of Sutri was also deemed our favorite.
Very thoughtfully set up as a place to stay without the host being on site. Antonella was available by messaging the whole way, and the place had breakfast items (generous stock of pastries, milk for cappuccino, all kitchen equipment) and many conveniences ready for all our needs (washing machine!). Very convenient location on via francigena as we entered Sutri.
The property is located in the most beautiful scenery! It’s clean, feels newly renovated. The family hosting are amazing. So friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a delicious home made dinner in the restaurant. You will not regret staying here and enjoying the family hosting at this quiet and clean family hotel located in beautiful nature.
A super hotel right in the centre of the beautiful town of Sutri. I had a great night's sleep here and the shower was fantastic too (always a bonus in my opinion). The staff are super friendly too. Obviously it's not a luxury hotel, but it's super clean and has everything you need. I would definitely stay here again.
The hosts were great. They went out of their way to assist us in finding the location (we were hiking) and deal with the bus schedules, and picked us up in town after dinner. We learned a lot about the Etruscan period and the history of Sutri. Very nice apartment, which was clean and comfortable. Great stay.
This hotel is a gem on the country side, clearly adapted to host magnificent weddings but also highly suitable for us who were just passing through. It offers excellent rooms (with the biggest bath tub I've seen), is calm and quiet and had both delicious breakfasts and a highly impressive dinner restaurant.
Beautifully done up and very comfortable. Washing machine was a bonus as was the balcony and view from the balcony. Very close to the bars and restaurants in beautiful Sutri. Friendly host who made me feel very welcome and helped me to carry my electric bike upstairs and let me store inside the property.
The owner is extremely nice and helpful, she also recommended a nice nearby restaurant - thank you! The apartment is surprisingly large and convenient, and we enjoyed the availability of a washing machine. In general, Sutri is one of the better stops on the Via Francigena.
