Albergo La Genzianella, hotel in Miasino

Situated in Miasino, 21 km from Borromean Islands, Albergo La Genzianella features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

The hotel is quite modest when it comes to the exterior and decor, but very clean and welcoming because of the friendly and helpful staff and great food. Dinner was excellent and one of the best we had during our 2,5 week stay in Italy (amongst which were 4 star hotels). Good beds and great breakfast.

Hotel Leon D'Oro, hotel in Miasino

Located in the most popular square in the historic centre of Orta San Giulio, Hotel Leon D'Oro features 2 sun terraces with views of Lake Orta and San Giulio Island.

My room was cute with access to the lake terrace. I even had a bathtub and a multi jet shower. The bed for my personal taste could have been a little softer. Breakfast was simple and descent. Reception staff was amazing! What's important to know, is that you have limited access to the Hotel by car. The way there is very narrow and for smaller cars only at a certain time a day. It has car parks a little further away tho.

Hotel Madonna di Luciago, hotel in Miasino

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace, Hotel Madonna di Luciago is situated in Armeno in the Piedmont Region. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and Orta Lake is 5 km from the hotel.

I loved the remote location. Very scenic. You need a car to get here as ot is off the beaten track but we'll worth the visit and exceptional value for money. We were there in mid September and availed of the out door pool and although it was cold it was very refreshing and a great way to get sorted after a late night. Ellie and her compatriots ate very accomodatating and the food in the restaurant is excellent.

Miasino is a quit small village.

Miasino is a quit small village. We choose for a dinner @ villa Nigra Taverne. Fine and fresh cooked. The other day we start to walk down to the lake steep but nice walk for 20 minutes and visit the old village for a couple of hours.

    The view is wonderful.

The view is wonderful. There is lots of lovely places to visit in the area, we spent 2days away from the lake in the mountains and loved it for the isolation and few people around. It can get very busy around the lakes and going into the mountains was a real joy
