We came with my parents to relax and enjoy sun and sea. We stayed for a week and everything just blew our expectations.
The location was away from cities on a beautiful private beach and the are of the hotel was with grass, trees and rosemary bushes and flowers all around. All well taken care of.
Pool was one of the best I ever seen, always clean and with enough sun beds for everyone.
Restaurants in the hotel were good enough for a week and we didn't feel the need to go and eat out, but if you want to good restaurants are less than 20min drive from the hotel.
The rooms were suprisingly more spacious than what appear on photos and super comfortable.
The best thing overal was how we felt being welcome and taken care of, the staff were simply amazing. From the receptionists to cleaners, waiters and managers, all were helpful and very kind. Special thanks to Diego and his flambé banana that he prepared for us as a bonus.
We'll remember this stay forever, thank you :)

What a gem! The place is very near one of the nicest beach in sardignia - five to seven mins walk. The house has all the amenities for a super comfortable stay. The hosts are great! She brought us to the supermarket on the first day and when she needed to go another day, asked us if we wanted a ride. They were also very helpful in giving us tips re Sardignia. They also let us stay longer as our flight was in the afternoon! All this without me asking. The veranda/terrace and garden is a nice place to read a book or do yoga! The restaurants nearby are super good. Will definitely stay here again when we go back to sardignia!

Wonderful villas that are comfortable and very well-equipped. The design is stylish and the internal courtyard and little garden both feel very private. The pool is absolutely beautiful. It’s also sparkling clean and has lovely views over the hills. Francesca was a great hostess and looked after us really well.

The cottage is located on a secure housing estate, close to the sea (a 10 minutes walk), and easy to find. It welcomed us with a beautiful little garden, a large, shaded patio, and a nicely decorated interior. The house was spacious and equipped with all the necessities. It was also spotless. Federico, our host, helped us with everything and was our remote guide:-) The beaches nearby are sandy, but you may also find rocky ones suitable for snorkeling. We had a great stay.
This was our 4th stay at St Elmo and it was better than ever, With a new modernised high quality supermarket on site and an excellent beach bar offering great service, value food and drink. The apartment was spacious with wonderful sea views. Nearby Costa Rei has a good selection of restaurants & bars. The resort also has a new manager who provides an excellent guide to local activities, restaurants and excursions.
First and most importantly, Maria and her son Ivo are very nice people taking real care of their guests. Especially their invitation to a Sardinian dinner was much appreciated - and the dinner superb.
The location is close to nice Costa Rei beaches and good to very good restaurants. The room was well-equipped and the „farm life“ made the stay feel calm & relaxed.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Very relaxing, intimate and beautiful. The food at the restaurants was also tasty. The staff were friendly and polite. There are so many stunning beaches near by as well to visit. I would recommend traveling here with a car if you don’t want to stay at the resort all day. I would definitely stay here again.
Very nice house: 3 bedrooms, possibility to barbecue, air conditioning was very valuable, beautiful garden and very quiet location, very nice shaded terrace, well equipped kitchen, nice decorations, several fantastic beaches are reachable in only 10-20 minutes by car, the host Federico was always available and responded to questions immediately.
The place is great, the beach is heaven, the food and wine list are excellent, but what really makes the Villa del Re unforgettable is the staff.
They are one of the very best hotel staff in Europe for sure, and probably in the world.
Without them we would be trying other resorts in Sardegna, but we keep coming back to that gem in Castiadas.
Lovely quiet spot, beautiful mountain view and pool. Close to many of the wonderful beaches of Costa Rei and Viilasimius. Much more spacious grounds than many houses we saw at the beach. Host welcoming on arrival and happy to help / answer questions. Typical Sardinian holiday house. Owners live upstairs in the summer.
