It was an excellent trip. We stayed 3 nights. Its quite relaxing. The room was veru clean, spacious . Staff was very humble and supportive. Kitchen services were excellent. The head care take Mr Vikas was attending personally and was so polite and familiar. Wish him success n aashirwad.

Beautiful city and amazing to see the British side of things. 2-3 days is max to stay in Shimla. Lots of places to choose from to eat and drink. Beware of the monkeys on the street specially if you are holding food. The train track and the Viceregal lodge was my favourite and being a Christian the two church was beautiful to see and still being used.

We were quite shocked at how busy Shimla has become and how...
We were quite shocked at how busy Shimla has become and how polluted the atmosphere is now compared to 27 years ago. The Himalayas were barely visible and had very little snow which for December we thought was unusual
It’s still a beautiful part of India but perhaps December isn’t the best time to visit as they have a winter festival which attracts people from all over India hoping for snow …..there was none.
We found lots of excellent places to eat where you could enjoy some fabulous sunsets
We climbed to monkey temple taking one of the old routes which was very picturesque and we avoided the crowds
The Viceroys Palace was a bit of a disappointment as there was a 4 hour wait for a guided tour Thankfully we’d asked our driver to wait for us so we enjoyed a walk round the gardens but didn’t wait to go inside
You can see plenty of monkeys but need to be very vigilant as they were steal from you many people were getting to close and having their phones snatched. There is a large population of stray dogs which was new to us. They are in good condition and fed by the local residents who encourage the dogs as they keep the monkeys away

Very beautiful HIll Station. People are very good. Food is awesome. Cold is just perfect for people from West and South India. A bit crowded during weekends, parking is an issue. Use lifts where ever available as we are not used to climbing uphills and walkign so much when coming from other regions. Wear good shoes as there is lot of walking. Jhaku Temple rope way is approx 500 per person for two ways ride. Mall road is expensive but stuff is good. Kufri and Mashobra are amazing too.
Amazing view, perfect location close to Mall Road. Right on the main road, book parking if you have personal car. Staff is exceptional. Hotel Manager Tushar is super helpful. Good place to stay with Children, very clean and well heated. Room with existing bed wall mounted bed is perfect while travelling with children, no need to take extra bed. Washrooms have hot water 24 hours for bath and wash basin. Enuf bathmats provided for us to cope up with cold bathroom floor as we came from the West of India. Overall perfect stay in Shimla.
If anyone plan to stay in this hotel then it will be a very bad idea as this hotel is 1.5 km away from the lift approaching to Mall road at Shimla and which have to complete by walking and there is no such conveyance is available to reach the property along with your luggage.
It is very pathetic to walk 1.5 km after reaching your dream destination and there is no arrangement is available from hotel to pick their customer from the bus stand.

Excellent location surrounded by Shimla mountains. Rooms are very spacious with superb view from large window. Rooms are neat and clean with all needful facilities. Toiletries provided. 24hrs hot water. Food quality is excellent with enough space for roof top dining. Location is near from Mall road. Staff are very supportive. Kids have good play area with lots of toys.

We booked for one night at Echor Shimla Hotel, property is very nice and clear. We had a clear view of Mall road, Christ church and jakhu temple from our room. It's no so far from the main market. Hardly 10 minutes from Mall road.
Rooms are Centrally heated and they have a gym and a dedicated play area for kids. Definitely will book again.

Very amazing and helpful caretaker (Jai bhaiya) who would be available to help for every little thing all the time. On first inspection, the place seemed amazing. Great location, right on the mall road opposite Hotel Combomere (Cafe Sol).

Staff was very warm and soft spoken, room service was a delight, breakfast buffet was great but the al carte menu for dinner had limited choices and the chicken biryani ordered was really disappointing and bland and damn expensive too.

This is right on the mall road of Shimla amidst all the hustle bustle of the town. Service was beyond good. Its a heritage property and gives you a feel of being in the old times.
Being a small property there are only a few guests at a time so the breakfast was not overcrowded. All was good.
It has comfortable location,Mall road is at walking distance.Cab was arranged by hotel.Hotel staff was always ready for service. View from Balcony is amazing.Owner Mr. Rajpal Macchan was very cordial and gave good advices for visiting places.Overall I am more than satisfied.
It was 2bhk complete house for us. Location was 6 km far from mall road. It waa told earlier to us. We reached in evening. Host mother prepared nice dinner for us. Rate were reasonable. Place was clean. Blanket and Quilt were clean and sufficient
