Waking up with the sounds of waves crashing was just perfect.
We had a wonderful time at Govekar Rooms. The staff was helpful and accommodating to our needs.
Mayur and Vinod ensured we had a smooth check in despite the odd hours. They even helped us with the bike and cab rents.

We had a very nice stay in this accommodation and the surrounding area.
Absolutely fantastic for relaxing and surrounded by a unique variety of nature. 🌴
The host took care of us and our concerns in a courteous manner at all times.
As the accommodation was a bit remote from Gokarna, the host offered us two scooters, so we could drive to the beautiful beaches of Gokarna. We were happy to live away from the hustle and bustle and to be able to observe so many beautiful and rare animals.
We were able to get a tuk tuk driver for other excursions (such as to the Yana Caves and waterfalls).
He also arranged a cab driver for us for the onward journey at a fair price.
We were served a very tasty breakfast every day.

1.Gokarna today is what Goa was 30-40 years ago. Except that alcohol is not cheap.
2. Place is very easy going with very little or no commercialization.
3.People are friendly and this place is extremely safe from women's perspectives.
4. There are interesting food joints where prices are high but the portion justifies it.

Gokarna is the cleanest version of Goa.
Gokarna is the cleanest version of Goa. You can book a rental bike and go for some calmest places like Mirjan Fort, Apsarakonda Falls, Murudeshwar Temple, Yana Caves, Paradise beach, Om Beach, Kudle Beach & many more. 3 or 4 days is enough to see all the places. Or else you can just chill there with a sea view.

It is holy place for priligrims and as well as good place for enjoy. Around of beautiful hills and beaches. There are couple of hotels only for people who cannot take Garlic. There is one at entrance of Gokarna Udupi hotel with limited options but authentic food another Datta Prasad tiffin Center near Venkateswara temple main road, only these 2 places you will get good Brahmin bojanam without garlic and rest of veg hotels they will use Garlic
