Can't put my finger on it but it has a weird vibe- I think it's that there are a lot of restaurants along the beach, but they are quite deserted, so there is not much of a buzz and feels a bit eerie.
The main Gorkarna beach was quite dirty. Kudle beach was cleaner, but there was still a pile of rubbish to the side. Lots of cows on the beach so lots of cow poop.
There are some beautiful parts to it, but not worth it for me. I'd go to Goa instead.

Gokarna is the ideal place for leisure holidays. It offers a lot like temples, road trips, monuments but highlight for me was beachside treks. It's amazing experience, one must try.
Availability of bikes makes it very easy to travels and roads are with amazing view, you will cherish every minute you travel.

It is clean and comfortable. There is no bar or communal seating area outside. On a very busy crossroads so noisy most of the time. Food from room service was largely good. It was nice to have a balcony. I’m beach is 6km away.

Very good serene place with a nice history, beaches were clean and trekkable. The crowd was so less that you could enjoy each and everything nicely must go place in my opinion just that take your own vehicle.

If you want Goa like environment without crowd with added bonus of pilgrimage to Shri Mahabaleshwor (Jyotirlinga) then this is the place. The locals are friendly and have time to speak to you. Someday we have one part of the beach totally for us.
AC dorm room was nice and cold, a few small power outages while we were there but not too long. Nice social atmosphere in the hammocks hanging everywhere under the coconut trees in the shade. Cold water showers only but you can get a Bucket of hot water if you want- we certainly didn’t need it. Gokarna is hot.
Reception staff is lovely, very good service and attitude. They helped with hiring a Scooty and bus transport and lent us a battery charger too.

Excellent stay! good and enjoyable. The pratiksha owner were real helpful in guiding us about the itinerary, routes and also translating the language. The staff was friendly and approachable. The ambience of the stay is worth the mention. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Overall a great place worth staying. Highly recommended.
Rooms were spacious and clean. It's located on gokarna main beach 3km and the view was really nice. , Need bike or car to reach there (rent scooter& car arrange owner pratiksha ). The only issue was with check-in time. Booked room in goibibo, and check in time was 12 pm, which was a little uncomfortable for people who reach in the morning. Other than that everything was awesome.

We were right on the beach! There was a terrace restaurant which was very convenient and also a good place to watch sunsets from. We liked the location, north of Gokarna, you pass through coconut groves and banana tree groves to get there. Lots of good places to stop and rehydrate if you walk into town.
The location was really good and near the beach and market place.
The view was incredible at night and stay was very safe, we enjoyed the games hosted by them plus they helped us to visit beautiful places and cafe

Hospitality of Mr Amit Gokarna..He knows how to take care of customers. We reached at 10.45 pm and he still arranged food for us..usually the kitchens are closed by that time.he didn't let us go to bed hungry.
The overall stay was good...I felt like the price is a little bit higher although all the stays near the beach were same, provides the same facilities..bt the staffs were good n overall experience is nice

Great place.. location is a bit difficult to reach with luggage, but it is totally worth it. Just 1min from kudle beach, and amazing place with beautiful vibes and clean space.
The location was very good just above the beach. The town was a short walk away too. Breakfast was very nice. Made a great change to have muesli yogurt and fruit option.
