Amazing stay at Ijen Transito! Very nice room and excellent service, especially if you want to go visit Mt Ijen and Mt Bromo because you can organise everything with the owner very easily!! Perfect location. About 10 mins walk from ferry and less than 5 mins to train station. Double Room really spacious. The host friendly and very responsive. Even if we booked last minute and texted that we might arrive after 11 pm as the ferry was delayed, he replied very quickly. And there was no hassle. To be recommended :-)

Very close to ferry and railway station. Supermarket very close access up alley alongside -had to ask to find as signage poor. VERY CHEAP.

There were no staff at check-in, but instead I pressed a buzzer and a lovely caretaker lady came to take me to my room. The room was very simple but the TV and A/C worked well. There was no hot water, but the area was so hot, that it wasn't needed. I don't really understand the significance of "Syariah", but the hotel seemed the same as any other. Tea and coffee making facilities were outside the room in a little communal area. The ferry crossing is walking distance.

We stayed there for a night, like the room and loved compound with green. Since we were tired from Kawah Ijen hike, we didn't try the pool but it seemed to be nice. We did dinner and breakfast there. Enjoying breeze and hearing sounds of sea waves, having meal was good. Breakfast offered many options but couldn't tried all of them.
