The best place ever with the best host in the world! We have been treated as a part of the family - the hosts were extremely polite, responsive, always helpful and understanding. Everything was amazing, warm welcoming from the hosts who where like family to me during my stay. My journey here was like I have stepped into a fairytale world. The place was very refreshing, I have met few friends of the family and we had nice time together. I tried for the first time a home made greek soup that was delicious. I have only regretted that I haven’t brought my dog with me, I am confident that he would’ve had a lot of fun. I want to thank wholeheartedly Niko’s and all his family and friends for their hospitality, their kindness and for everything.

The place is new, very tastefully done, with a lot of amenities. The host was caring, gave me directions to pharmacies, places to eat and order food, shops and was responsive to everything! Glad to be there again!

The area is very quiet and peaceful (if a little remote). Having a private pool is great. There is a lovely beach bar run by Kostas in the middle of Skroponeria. Alykes beach (golden sand, umbrellas, sunbeds, iced beers) is about 15minutes. I'd recommend Avantis Winery for great wine tasting and Aegean Seals for a cool 4-hour Scuba experience - both in Chalkida.
Some of the area is yet to be tarmacked so there is about 400m of dirt road before you reach asphalt, and it is steep. Our rental car struggled a bit and kicked up a few stones. However, there are plans to tarmac the area soon.
