Preveza is a cute little harbour town, its proximity to Nicopolis was the main reason for our stay. It is also great for trips in the island of leukada and also relatively close to the beautiful nature and mountains of Epirus. Finding a parking spot can be a bit tricky at times.

Easy and convenient airport and Preveza offered a very relaxed atmosphere in the old town area.
Many good restaurants including some like Saitan Palazar with live Greek music on certain evenings.
Taverna Mythos was delightfully friendly and good value for money.
Dioni Boutique Hotel was excellent and in an enviable position.
Easy access by 6 euro taxi to the Ktel bus station for 7 euro bus to Parga or 1 euro 60c easy bus back to airport.
We shall certainly use this gateway to Greece again.

Small town whose biggest attraction is a modest shopping street. Worth coming to only as a lay-over/relay if you're further picking-up your boat to sail off from its large marina or if you're travelling to neighboring areas.

We ADORED Preveza!
We ADORED Preveza! One of our favourite places we have ever been. It felt totally authentic, non-touristy, there was such a buzz everywhere & everything we ate was incredible. Everyone was so friendly, & we felt super safe everywhere we went. Relaxing & exciting in equal measure.. & we saw sea turtles!

Small town which is not packed with tourists luckily. The beaches are amazing -Alonaki is my favourit-, the architecture is amazing, the food is extremel delicious in every single restaurant (Opaka was our favourit)! The people are generally kind and try their best to help when needed. The food prices are low. Perfect place to roam around on a bike, there are no real distances, perfect for photoshoots and to enjoy your summer to the fullest.
Had an amazing stay at Grecco's. We flew into Preveza with 2 bicycles in boxes and Christina very kindly arranged a pick up for us from the airport to the apartment (5 mins drive! Very close). The house is beautiful ! Lots of space, clean and tidy. We were very grateful for the food for breakfast too! It was amazing to wake up and see the ocean , lemon and orange trees! Incredible. 100% recommend this place. Thank you Christina and family for helping us have a super start to our 2 month cycle trip through Europe!
Very cosy, clean and fully equipped. The entire apartment is equipped with super modern furniture and kitchen. The bathroom is very modern, new and very, very clean. Every day you have room cleaning. Peaceful location, very next to a beautiful Orthodox chirch, a little bit far away from the center and the port, but with car you will be in the center of Preveza for about 5 minutes. If you don't want to drive to the beaches, you have a peaceful beach place across the street, downstairs.
This beautiful apartment is only 10 minutes from the airport. Town centre, beaches, bars, restaurants and marina are all within walking distance so easily accessible. The apartment has a large balcony where I enjoyed a beer or two. The hosts were very kind and generous and gave us fresh eggs and vegetables, and also collected and dropped us off at the airport. We found the locals to be equally as kind and welcoming.

The apartment was very clean, comfy and you have all you need for cooking and staying there.
The sofa bed is extendable and you can use it if you need.
From the apartment, you are very close to the beach, restaurants, markets.

Extra care for cleanliness and covid measures. Location was very convenient to move into town and go to the airport the next day. Friends suggested we should stay in Lefkada instead, but cannot personally confirm if it would have been more convenient.

The hotel was modern, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Dionysos, his family and staff were friendly and helpful. Only a very short walk to the beach which had all the facilities we needed.
The room was nice and clean with the bed being the highlight. So comfortable. The location of the hotel is really convenient cause you you pretty much have everything you need at your door step.
The property was clean and spacious and the views from the balconies were ok. The property is located in a quiet area which is close to beaches and the airport but a car is essential.
Host was lovely and very generous took us from the airport to the hotel and showed us around. Was really helpful and took us to the bus station when we wanted to go to Parga.
Really nice recently refurbished hotel. Great breakfast. The man who checked us out was lovely and gave us recommendations for places to see at our next destination.
The host was very helpful. He suggested a beach, a museum and a seafood restaurant which were all very good. The apartment was very clean and well located.
