Papigo is a small village located in the Epirus region. It has an authentic flavor to it. The views of the Akrata are unbelievable. One can sit at nearly any cafe outdoors and see the view all day long. These are the important bits. The food is excellent. The prices astonishingly enough are very reasonable and little more than one would find anywhere else. We live in Greece. Finally, if you would like snacks, your own food if you are self catering, or to enjoy your own beer wine or liquor, bring it with you. There is nowhere within 40 minutes to buy anything. There is a small mini-market open on weekends that sells lighters, cigarettes, snacks and soft drjnks. That is it. There is a Marinopolou (Super Market) in Kalpaki which is 40 minutes away AND down the mountain on the winding curves. If the weather is bad- you won't want to do it twice the same day. The hotels have what you may want BUT BRING WHAT YOU WILL NEED.
When we are in the Epirus region of Greece we enjoy a night or two in Ioannina staying in the castle or close to it by the lake. Ioannina is the major town of Epirus with airport and a big lake surrounded by mountains and beautiful, bountiful nature. From Ioannina you can explore many fantastic places such as mountains, rivers, caves and the coast plus get ferries to the Ionian islands eg Corfu, Ithaca and the devine Paxos. Some highlights are Meteora which is AMAZING. The River "Styx" aka Acheron River, Vikos Gorge, the Zagorochoria villages such as Metsovo, Pindos Mountains and Mt.Gamila with its alpine dragon lake. Some great hotels are in the castle walls and Z hotel nearby. There is a place we like to eat called Embassy near the castle but not sure how to say it in Greek :-) I can also recommend staying at Art Hotel Mirtali (Dodoni 15mins towards the coast from Ioannina) and the hotels at Ligkiades overlooking Ioannina. Down the coast such the citadel at Parga is worth seeing but really the region has too much too mention if you enjoy nature, beaches, ancient places so start exploring :-)
This is a lovely town and excellent base for exploring other areas of Epirus. Absolutely stunning views around and other areas to visit such as Perama cave and the Zagorochoria villages.
Fabulous place - we have loved it since first visiting 17 years ago! Parga and its immediate area has plenty on offer to keep you entertained, and there is a wide choice of excellent tavernas, where you are always made to feel very welcome. In addition, Parga is also a very good base if you wish to travel further afield and visit the many beautiful places within the Epirus region - Meteora for one! Another 'Do Not Miss' is the trip from Parga to Paxi on the Marco Polo! A further bonus - during our most recent trip (Sept/Oct) - was that the weather was glorious, which we didn't expect.Highly recommended! (Wish I was still there!)
Preveza is a great centre from which to explore the Epirus region which has great beaches, wonderful archealogical sites, and an abundance of wild life and plants
A lively compact town which is a perfect starting point for a holiday in Epirus. Restaurant choice is excellent with beaches not too far away.

The apartment was excellent in every aspect: location, cleanliness, space and especially the fournishings: it was impossible to find anything missing, if you needed something, there was a 99% you would find it in one of the drawers. The location is perfect to visit the Epirus region. The apartment is 10mins away on foot from the Preveza historical centre, and 3mins away from the nearest big supermarket. We appreciated the terrace where we often had breakfast and dinner. The parking space in front of the apartment was also very convenient.
We really enjoied our Holidays here. It was maybe one of the most clean Hotel we ever have been and the Family who runs the buisness were extremly friendly! The rooms look even better from near than the Fotos in the Internet! It is in the middle of Epirus so you can visit all the sights and cities of this area like, Preveza, Parga and Lefkada. The beaches where beautiful and the Prices of the Restaurnts where realy good! We will be happy to visit this place again!
The location is very comfortable. Grocery stores, a bakery, several cafes and restaurants are in a short walking distance. The apartment as well as Pramanta itself are very clean. There's a washing machine, which we found Several points of interests and attractions are relatively (to Epirus) close by.

We were 4 cyclists taking a 7 days round tour in the Epirus region. Location was perfect for us & the rooms just what we needed. The Jenerous breakfast made our day easier... Resaption lady helped us with logistics issue we had & was very welcoming. Altogether- very nice hotel.

Lovely location; peaceful and quiet. Immaculately clean. Very comfortable. The best shower we've had in Greece! Beautiful sea views. Well equipped. Easy access to areas of Epirus. Good tavernas within short driving distance.

Loved that the beach was in front of the hotel. Used water taxi to get around and cabs that were inexpensive. Staff was professional and courteous.

Amazing location with private beach. A little far from the town, but having a car that was not an issue. The hotel is close to the Blue Lagoon, I was able to take a Sup over there – a wonderful experience. The breakfast was super and the room we had was big (apartment with seaview) and had a large fridge, which was appreciated.
Everything was professional handled service was unbelievable and the people were great ! And then lifeguard at the pool was excellent!
The location is ideal , close to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants and 10 minutes stroll to the harbour. The room is really spacious with a good sized bathroom and a large balcony. The swimming pool is a brilliant size and it is surrounded by a lovely garden area - great for relaxing and has the bonus of the on-site restaurant and bar.
