The location was good - as we had a car and there was parking available. The manager was extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room on the second floor had a great view, we were upgraded to a larger room. Breakfast was basic, with nice homemade preserves, but it was good enough to start the day - with plenty of fresh coffee.

We had a wonderful experience, staying at the Villa Serenity with Maria and Michael. We were 3 adults, and 6 children. The home is beautiful and equipped with everything one might need. The kids even had a swing set and a pool in the yard. :)
The house was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and they had lots of extra items which we really appreciated (i.e., extra pillows, blankets, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and so on…).
We truly enjoyed the outstanding service and hospitality provided by Maria and Michael. She provided a great welcome with food and drinks, made us dinner and breakfast, kept the refrigerator stocked with the most amazing traditional foods, and gave us very helpful advice about the most amazing beaches in that area, as well as things to do. Everything they recommended was excellent. The friendly support was like a bed and breakfast, but with a lot more privacy. I was also impressed by the way Maria communicated by email, and phone whenever we needed something. The arrival instructions were very detailed and helpful, and they were sent a month ahead. Everything was handled with professionalism and friendliness.
We had a terrific vacation due in large part to how well this rental worked out. We highly recommend it.

A quiet place ideal for relaxing vacation. The village has few really nice taverns and the people are friendly. The village has no big landmarks or an amazing beach, but nearby there are many other small places to visit and many wonderful swimming areas like Stomio beach. The village is perfectly located if you want to explore the Kymi coastline but also not too far from the scenic mountains to the north. Within 30-40 minutes driving you can visit some spectacular beaches or walk in the forest at 700-800 meters elevation. We visited several beaches and we did some hiking and all places definitely exceeded my expectations. Depending on the accommodation the view from the village towards the sea is wonderful.
Stomio, Soutsini (good beach for small kids), Kalamos are excellent choices to swim around Platana.
