Excellent for family stay and great value for money. The apartment is spacious, with a lot of sleeping space, and everything else one might need (washer, well equipped kitchen, bathroom with a tub, etc).
Even though it's close to the main road, the apartment is facing the side street, so it's not noisy.
The host was extremely kind and helpful. It would be great to stay longer the next time.

A beautifully decorated apartment located in a building where the landlords of the apartment also live. This enabled a quick and good response to all our requests.
The apartment, which is located on the top floor of the building, has an amazing view of the whole neighborhood, the beaches and even an observation as far as South Pelion.
The access to the apartment is through external metal stairs (private entrance to the apartment).
The apartment is very spacious - three bedrooms and two bathrooms/toilets. One with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The large bathroom has a washing machine.
The apartment has a small kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal for the family: cookware, plates, cutlery, glasses. In the refrigerator, basic food products were waiting for us to use on the first day.
The apartment has several balconies and sitting areas, as the weather permits.
Inside the apartment there is a small seating counter and also a large table for sitting for meals in one of the bedrooms (we were 5 and it was enough for us).

Although I frequently passed through Néa Ankhíalos in the past -when I was working in nearby Volos- I never had stayed there, and hadn't realised its potential for vacationing. Its proximity to Pelion and the incredibly fine beaches of the Aegean front of the Pelion mountain, had me pass it by, and it's a pity as Néa Ankhíalos has a very inviting beach and at the same time has restaurants to go to, close to the beach. Will visit again.

I can't really grumble as you get what you pay for with...
I can't really grumble as you get what you pay for with hotels. The reception team were great, but the bed was far too soft for a decent night's sleep. This hotel is great for an airport stopover but not sure that I'd want to stay there for a week.
Location, affordable price and absolutely warm, friendly and courteous management and staff.. The hotel is clean and modest, provides strong WiFi, parking, and is located just 50m from the beach with lots of excellent taverns that mostly serve Greek cuisine. There are ample bars as well to relax and unwind. The area is very safe and frequented by local families.
The location is excellent, right in front of the beach and very close to restaurants and cafes, though very quiet when we visited. Didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast buffet because we were in a hurry. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. To use the words of my four-year old son:”mum, I want us to go back to that hotel again very soon!”
Great location and excellent balcony with sea view rooms, sea was just across the street and restaurants in immediate close by. Family run hotel which was in excellent condition and staff could not have been more pleasant. Breakfast was good, and given very nice Greek coffee due coffee machine being inoperative at the time.
The location is excellent, literally in front of a blue flag beach, with an excellent view of Pagasitikos gulf. The staff was helpful and attentive. The hotel seems properly maintained and everything was in working order. Wi-Fi is fast and free for guests.

Nice hotel with a sea view, right across the beach. Very polite and friendly receptionist and stuff. Clean room and nice terrace. Very nice, fresh breakfast. Since we were visiting the place out of season period, it was very calm, relaxing and lovely stay.
Very close to the sea and the beach. The hotel is nicely decorated. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The beds were a little harder than we were used to, but we slept well. The price is reasonable. We spent the night on our way from Athens to Thessaloniki.
The location is just in the front of the sea. Very nice and supportive personel, 24h reception open. Good option for people looking for an accesible and common beach and a 2* hotel or for people in tranzit.
