Hotel Kosta Famissi is situated in Kalambaka’s entrance, only 1 km from Meteora and the monasteries. It offers classic rooms, most with stunning views of the rocks. We had spacious, clean room, amazing view from balcony and continental breakfast. Hotal is really big and interesting. You can reach it on foot right from train station. All tavernas and caffes are at the same street.

Ziogas Rooms is located in the traditional village of Kastraki, surrounded by the rocks of Meteora. All rooms have a balcony, with stunning area views. There is free Wi-Fi and parking. I loved the family atmosphere at the hotel, the husband and wife in charge are so lovely and will help you out with any request as best they can. It’s one of the furthest stays from the train station BUT one of the closest to the Monasteries. I did a couple of the guided tours and thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I could sleep that extra 30-40mins more as I was the last to be picked up on the way Meteora.

The room is spacious with breathtaking views. The owner provides firewood for the fireplace, allowing guests to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. The entire house is stylishly decorated with a design that truly captivates the heart. Everything was superb, and I will always fondly remember our stay at this wonderful hotel.
