Litochoro is a gateway to Olympus, so it does not need recommendations. The apartment we rented was a bit farther from the mountain, close to the sea. So we had the advantage of sea beach, plenty of restaurants and shops.

if you plan to follow E4 in one day, better to take taxi to Prionia and hike from there. If you climb from the beginning , there is not much to see. on the way and you will get exhausted after 4 km since the trails are quite stepp with sharp rock.

Great access to Mt. Olympus and a number of day hikes. Easy access to the beaches as well, although we came in early April so did not visit them as extensively as we might have in the summer months. Town is incredibly quaint and has a lot of character.

The ambiance of the village is amazing, the views of ocean and mountains alike are unmatched. We probably would have stayed one more night as we didn't even get to the beaches but just had time to hike Mt. Olympus. The monastary to waterfall hike is perfect for a family to enjoy the mountain without being too long or challenging.

Fantastic room with a great view from the balcony. The hotel owner was extremely helpful. She provided me with a breakfast bag the evening before I went up to the mountains. She also had some great advice for the hike and when I didn't return to the hotel in time, she called up the refuge to check up on my status. Not for a minute did I feel like I was away from my home country. Amazing breakfast and great location. Very close to the Enipeas canyon. I will definitely stay here again for my future trips to Litochoro.
I can’t begin to say enough about this beautiful hotel or its hosts. The hotel has been meticulously remodeled with an attention to detail. From the beautifully set breakfast table to the extra bathroom sundries provided, there isn’t an inch of this special space that hasn’t been thoughtfully touched. The service is warm and caring. The location is perfect for day hikers or explorers of the area. I would stay there again in a second and have my family and friends join me as well! A slice of heaven.
The best apartment we had on our long trip in Greece. Clean, nice apartment with 3(!) balconies in a quiet area, and a view to Mount Olympus. But, above all, our host was an angel. The fridge was full of goodies (also ones made by herself), and her polite and prompt answers to our many questions proved to be invaluable throughout our stay. (Olympus is BIG. You will need her help, especially if you are a first-timer.) On our arrival, on our departure, we did not have to wait a minute for her arrival.
Easily one of the best places I have ever been. The room was charming and very clean, the people were some of the nicest we met in Greece, and the location is amazing ; right below the Olympus in a nice small village.
The breakfast itself is worth coming there. Fresh products and home made pastries every day different, it was the bedt breakfasts I ever had.
Thanks again for everything, we will definitely come back!
The location was perfect. The decoration of the room was very beautiful. Most importantly, Eva at the hotel was very professional and kind. I was, though unintentionally, kind of a capricious guest because I had not planned my trip very well. So, I came up with so many last minute requests and endless questions. Eva has been super patient ☺ and helpful. Thank you!
Everything was perfect. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are good with everything you need. But the best things are the staff and the views from the hotel.
It's a family run hotel and we got to chat a little. All were super nice and friendly and were there every time we needed something. And the views from the hotel are simply amazing.
The hotel is located in the centre of Litochoro and the room has a wonderful view of the mountains from the balcony. The room has all the necessary facilities and it is very clean. The breakfast was quite big and delicious. Dimitra and all the staff were really helpful. And overall, it was a very pleasant stay at the "Olympus View" hotel.
Very lovely room with views of the mountain, great shower and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Varied, filling, and delicious breakfast for 6 euro.
Short walk to lots of local restaurants in town.
Shady street parking on a wide road right next to the hotel (pretty rare in a town with very narrow and windy streets).
A wonderful small boutique hotel, located just in front of Mt. Olympus - with great views to wake up in the morning.
The hotel has a boutique touch, with all utilities and amenities in the room. We had 3 rooms over for 2 nights - all were clean and comfy. The owner is a very nice and helpful man.
Very clean and spacious apartment that had everything we needed. Host was very welcoming and gave us some useful local information. Property was much nicer and brighter than in the photos - it is one of the nicest apartment we have stayed in so far in 8 weeks in Greece
The bus from Katerini pulls up directly in front of the hotel! Literally in the center of Litochoro. Plenty of night life, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, etc. Beautiful view of the mountain. Excellent and friendly staff, very accommodating and speak great English.
The hotel is in an excellent location, very central and a great base for all activities in the Litochoro area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room we were in, had a great view of the mountains. The room and hotel was very clean and comfortable.
A unique and beautiful hotel, warm and comfortable. Central location. Helpful and very nice staff. Good breakfast, we enjoyed it very much. We came with small children and we were received patiently, and with understanding.
A pleasant little hotel in a convenient location in the town centre with public parking just nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed a good breakfast there.
The manager, Stella, was great! She was very helpful with suggestions for hiking and dining. The hotel is in a good location, with comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast.
The town of Litochoro was peaceful and full of amazing food and people. The hotel Afroditi exceeded our expectations, Athena was awesome. Would absolutely go back.
Amazing room with amazing views, good breakfast. Good location. The staff was very helpful, booking us a covid test for an upcoming flight right next to the hotel
