Leptokaria was a lovely town close to Mt.Olympus and within walking distance to beach shopping strip. We hired a car a drove to Mt.Olympus and would recommend visiting Mt.Olympus early in morning to avoid the crowds.

You can reach by car, by bus or by train! There are a lot of beaches for any taste (rock or sand),having facilities like showers, sun beds etc

It's a nice seaside town. When I visited off-season many places were closed, but I found a nice sea-view taverna.
Seems like a nice place to visit in the summer. Very close to the main road too, so handy for a short stop on the way south.

We saw only a little, but enjoyed the great, huge beach and a good seaside restaurant with lots of seafood dishes. Since we were there in late September, the Greeks thought the weather was cold, but we found it beautiful, sunny, with delicious fresh air from the sea. The sea was great for swimming, although lots of rounded rocks made getting into the water tough on feet (plus we were tired from our trip, and new to this type of tide-borne rocks) but the water was great as soon as we traversed about 10-20 feet into deeper water. Nice shopping-area street near our hotel, where we bought a plug-in USB outlet, and food for breakfast.
We take a short WINNTER vacation here for new years's eve.
This place is with different magic on this period of the year.

We stopped at the hotel as the last leg of a rather long trip through Greece. The hotel surprised us very pleasantly. The place is extremely clean and tidy, with amazing architecture. The people at the reception are very kind and responsive and even though we were out of season, they welcomed us and helped us with all the questions we had. We will certainly visit it in the summer, as soon as possible.
Stuff is amazing, the girl on the reception is very kind! The hotel is new, everything is comfortable, the room has all the stated facilities and they are brand new. Easy check in on time, they even give you a gift at check out, a really nice touch! The towels and sheets are changed every 2-3 days, and the room is cleaned daily, great, and every recommendation!!

The hotel definitely exceeded our expectations for the money we paid and considering we visited well after the end of the season. Everywhere was clean, spacious, green, the food was excellent, everyone was very kind to our dog and toddler.
