We have been in Ellite Cottage during the strong storm in Greece. We had a reservation for one night, but the roads were close because of the storm, so the owener of the place invated us to stay 3 more days without churging us.
During our stay the stuff (Vasilis) helped us as much as he could. Althogh there were no water and no electricity in all the area, they tried to do the best that we would feel o.k.
They wormed our hearts with their generosity.
Thank you very much, miss Efi and Vasilis, we hope to come again in good times.

The location of this place is fantestic for touring all pelion- north to south and east to west. Luesia, the host helps in anything you need, very clean and kitchsn well equiped. Breakfast is an option in the owener's coffee shop 2 minutes walk. Bakery and shop in 5 min. Walk. A lovely promanade 2 min. Walk and lovely beach 5 min. walk. Excelent place to stay on a vacation!

Kato Gatzea is a tranquil and picturesque coastal village with a small beach and an equally small harbour. It is much quieter than neighboring Kala Nera. There are several nice restaurants (sea food, pizza) along the little beach road, and you can sit very close the water and eat while watching the old houses and the mountain behind you. There is a small supermarket (with generous opening hours), a bakery and a pharmacy close the main road.

This beautiful village has great places to eat and a couple of small beaches. It is very close to other villages/towns (bigger and smaller) on the Pelion peninsula, each different from the other.
We love the village and have stayed there 3 times now - would be 4 but it we couldn't get accommodation there one year! It is especially good if you want a quieter place as your base but want the option of having busier, more bustling places a very short drive away. It gives so many choices of beaches both in Kato Gatzea and nearby.
