The location of the hotel is very good for the beach and getting around. The place is situated in mature woodland so there is nice shade during hot weather.
The restaurant next door was absolutely great with all dishes prepared fresh and to perfection.
The hotel and restaurant are much more low key than other resorts around, which is great for anyone who comes to this nature reserve for its unspoilt beauty and for the resort living.
Breakfasts was a great surprise as it was very yummy.
We loved the area and in my opinion this hotel is best choice for exploring its beauty.

We didn't actually stay at Lakkopetra, due to temporary unavailability, but at Kalogria apartment instead, that the owner offered us, and everything was perfect. The place is great, so close to one of the best beaches in Peloponnese

Kalogria is amazing to spend time at the beach or relaxing in the woods walking around and even visiting Olympia and other archaeological sites like the Toichos Dymaion as well as the limnothalasses (lagunas) and hills. There are fruits and herbs to pick everywhere.
This place is located in the middle of the national park of Kotychy and Strofylia Wetlands, surrounded by nature. You can easily reach the sandy beach by 10 minutes walking. The room was clean, quiet, equipped with a fridge and a balcony with a small table and chairs. The staff is very kind.
Do not miss a dinner at the restaurant, the quality of the food is so high (expecially fresh fish) and the chef is excellent. We had a beautiful night outside in the garden, eating calamari and grouper while enjoying a bottle of Kalogria wine.
I loved everything, literally was very clean, peaceful and the Management were very helpful.since i could not speak Greek they helped me all the way to also help book for my daughter and i transportation.. the house is 8min from the kalogria beach by car and 12 min by bicycle.. they also provided bicyles too and was happy.. also it is 8 mins to the nearest Restaurant and 8 mins from the airport. The best part they cleaned there often, plus was clean and very nice.. iam giving my honest experience i had for the duration of my stay.
Very helpful and obliging hosts, a very quiet spot. The location is good, five minutes by car to an very large excellent beach, Kalogria, with a small river where you can also swim. There are beach bars and water sports but also a large part with no facilities, more quiet and tranquil. There is the wetland nearby where you can see flamingoes, pelicans, herons etc. or you can walk in the seaside forest.
If you are interested in spending time on the beautiful Kalogria beach, this hotel has a perfect location. The beach is literally a short walk away. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. the management was friendly, the room was a traditional Greek accommodation: roomy, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were fresh and tasty and the grounds, where we enjoyed breakfast outdoors, were lovely.
Me and my friends loved our stay at kalogria Beach studio, the room is very clean with all the services, towels, A/C and a fridge, outside has a nice garden with table and chairs to enjoy the landscape in peace.
The family was very sweet and welcoming.

The beach is very close by walking. I will definitely will come back I found my second home at Kalogria
Hotel facilities are modern and ample. Pool use has no restrictions. Breakfast buffet has substantial variety in a beautiful open setting with a view of the pool. Parking space is available and easy to find. Excellent location for access to the beach. Close to a casual gourmet -style restaurant called Seimeio Strofilia that is within walking distance.
The greek hospitality of our Host Peri surpassed all expectations.

By foot you reach the beach in less than 5 minutes, there we simply mentioned we are with this hotel and got a free sun bed + sun shade umbrella.

The hotel is most beautifully located under shady pine trees and surrounded by meadows and a small mountain ridge. The breakfast is excellent, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome as a family with two children.
The worst hotel I've stayed in while in Greece. Dirtying, stunk, tiles broken everywhere, bed kept moving so pillows fell down back and worst of all, the woman who booked us in couldn't have cared less. Stay in a tent, better option.
The people who run the hotel are very kind and helpfull. The Breakfast was extraordinary as well as the food we ate in the evening at their restaurant. Very nice beaches and nature in Kalogria (only to enjoy on daylight - moskitos).
