This is not about the hotel itself - which was perfect, it's about the treatment.
We came to celebrate our marriage, and we were treated like a family!
The room was amazing, to the last detail, such a comfy bed, fireplace, and view of the beautiful mountains.
The breakfast was very tasty with local handmade pies.
Highly highly recommended!

I feel like one doesn’t have a full picture of Greece without a visit to a hill town like Dimitsana. Lovely, lively, intriguing. Drive respectfully or not at all. Visit the monastery (you have to open the gate yourself during visiting hours), walk the hills, visit the water power museum and simply enjoy authentic Greece.

We appreciated the helpfulness of our host.
We appreciated the helpfulness of our host. He directed us to a hike that we wanted to make and helped facilitate transportation so we could be dropped off at one end and hike back to the village. We enjoyed a traditional breakfast both of the mornings we stayed at the guesthouse. The room was comfortable and we loved sitting on the balcony in the morning to enjoy the view of the village.

We stayed for 2 nights, which could have been longer, but there was so much to see in Peloponnese. We had a day to hike the gorge and visit monasteries, which shouldn't be missed. (One can actually drive close to them, but the hike was beautiful.) Some good restaurants in town, too.

A charming historic hillside town with narrow streets, so expect "squeezy" traffic situations with caution the order of the day. The locals are generally understanding of visitors.
The same applies for the main access roads too and from. They are both entertaining and slow, be patient and you will enjoy, you're on holiday after all. Drive by line of sight. Not too many photo opportunities, rush and you'll miss them.
Restaurants are economical and enjoyable, service is good as is the food, good basic fare.
The breakfasts were incredible, gourmet, prepared for each guest with a unique menu each day. They were extremely generous with 3 courses presented beautifully and served with a smile. The manager and the owners are lovely and very attentive. Finding the hotel was a bit of a challenge but a simple call would work. There is a lift inside but you have 3 steps to get inside and the luggage has to be carried a short distance from the car to the guesthouse. It’s a lovely place and we felt very welcomed. They take great pride in their guesthouse.
This is by far one of the best places to stay in and around the menalon trail .
Stefanos ( the owner) was so communicative. We got a message from him explaining the exact location of the hotel and the best way to get there .
We needed some help with finding a taxi to take us to on of the trail heads and he was more than willing to help.
The facilities in the hotel are great the room are cozy the beds are very comfortable.
Breakfast is great.
All in all we will definitely come back .
The hotel is right in the city center. You hear the noise from the main road that passes right under the room until late at night. in addition, every hour the church bells ring.
The room is quite spacious, clean and comfortable but there is a problem with hot water.
There is no air conditioning so it is impossible to seal the room from the noise outside.
All in all, for those who don't mind the noise, the location is excellent.
I really loved the stay here. It is a very cute hotel with an extremely cozy atmosphere. The hostess was really nice and welcoming and gave this friendly grandmother vibe. Though off season she took the time to care and provide a really nice breakfast as well (including the home-made jams and eggs). I would definitely come here again when in the region.
Be sure to book a room overlooking the canyon - amazing view! Very comfortable bed, great water pressure in shower, very spacious room, immaculately clean. Family run hotel where they really care about you having a wonderful stay. Highlight was the buffet breakfast which was super delicious! Everything was of great quality and the coffee is perfect!
It is located within a beautiful and serene environment. Love the fresh air and the beautiful of nature. The hotel is tastefully designed 👍👍
The owner is very professional, thank you for going the extra miles to walk out to the entrance to direct us to your hotel when we arrived late.
The breakfast was hot and homemade! Love the experience.
One of the few places with designated parking spaces this newly renovated hotel offers great spaces and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Staff was extremely hospitable and serviceable: helping us with parking and recommending where to visit in the area. The bathroom was very luxurious. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
Hostess and son super nice and sweet. Loved breakfast nook. Great location!! Lovely view of valley and old church. Right on wonderful alley and near 2 famous places of history. Sorry we missed her hand baked sweets for breakfast as we had to leave. Very nice tho and we felt like family❤️🧿❤️ We were able to park right at hotel!!!
Elena and everyone at Methexis were incredibly welcoming and we loved everything about our stay. The room was wonderful, clean and had an amazing view overlooking the village. The location is ideal, as it’s only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Dimitsana. The breakfast was very generous, well-made and artisanal.
The hotel was very spacious - both within the rooms and the shared courtyard, which was wonderful for kids to explore and play. The rooms were comfortable with all the relevant amenities. The location was just outside town which was very convenient and meant that it was quiet.
The hotel looks like it's out of a fairy tale. Anna welcomed us and is excepcionally hospitable. She also makes the delicious breakfast pastries. Peter, her son, helped us sort out our hiking route and call us a taxi instead of doing the whole route in reverse.
The location was well situated above a local Tavern with great local food. It was easy to find with easy street parking nearby. The room was comfortable, clean and cosy with a strong shower. Great base to explore Dimitsana.
Proselinos is a marvelous place in a wonderful, scenic mountain town. The couple running it are exceptional hosts in every way, including delicious breakfasts and spotless, renovated rooms. My favorite place in Greece!
The guesthouse offered a magical view over the village of dimitsana and the surrounding mountains. Very welcoming and kind hosts. The breakfast was exquisite - soo much delicious food.
A nice mountain house elegantly renovated as a very confortable and modern hotel.
The owners are super friendly.
Both cleanliness and confort were impeccable.
High recommend.
I would highly recommend this hotel !!! Our room was really cool and the view on the mountains was amazing. The location is just great and the host was really nice.
Only superlatives, the hotel and the location were excellent, but most of all the beautiful owners, Hara and Aris who made us feel at home away from home.
Genie is a great hostess and makes a fantastic breakfast. The hotel is beautiful furnished and impeccably clean. It is well situated and has a great view.
