Room was spotless clean, towels were changed every day. We got an upper room with fantastic sea view, thanks for this! Breakfast was very good with large variety, something for every taste, home made marmalade, cold and warm dishes. Very good coffee! Chania is a tiny village so hotel is in quiet location (this is what we were looking for) but close enough to bigger villages. We had a dinner in Kokkini's Family Taverna, which is locating just other side of the street, opposite of delicatessen (home made marmalade, honey, self collected oregano which we bought - very fresh and tasty) and dinner was very good for very, very reasonable price. You should try!
Right on the central square of Portaria with its shading plane trees, lies the hotel and restaurant Kritsa. It offers romantic rooms, a rich traditional breakfast.

i highly reccomend Kritsa Hotel. It is located centrally in Portaria, providing parking, which is rare, and the best breakfasti had in a long time. Since it is also a restaurant every product is fresh and delicious and they also own a farm so the ingredients are local. Imagine people from other hotels visit this one for their breakfast. The restaurant is also one of the best in the aera and even if it is downstairs we didnt hear a thing. Great experience in total!
At an altitude of 650m, in the picturesque square of Portaria in Pelion, lies Pelias Hotel. It offers free public Wi-Fi, a traditional breakfast buffet, and a charming courtyard.
This centrally situated, family-run hotel in Portaria’s main square is set among rich gardens, 650 metres above sea level. The year-round hotel offers a lounge with fireplace and a homemade breakfast....
Set upon Aghios Georgios, a traditional village of Pelion, Anovolios offers views of Pagasitikos Gulf. The luxuriously furnished rooms offer an extra-large bed and free WiFi throughout.
Just 50 metres from the central square of Portariá, the traditionally built Maritsas boasts an outdoor pool and a stone-paved terrace with sun loungers.

I liked the hospitality of the staff and the willingness to assist in any of your concerns.
Set amidst an olive grove right in front of the sea, Faros offers rooms with unobstructed sea views and has an on-site museum and a restaurant.

What I felt about Faros was that I had entered a dream of mine. That is, a place I have always dreamed about somehow, and now the dream had come true. It begins with its being situated far away from any tourist hum, in the middle of an olive grove and garden, and right on the sea. And it has to do with the special quality of light in the place, because the rooms are so filled with light which comes both from the mountain and olives and from the sea. I felt this way about my room too, because not only was it large, with large windows and balcony doors, but, since I had requested and received a corner room, it opened onto an enormous balcony overlooking both the olive groves on the mountain slope and the sea, and with a huge chestnut tree growing onto it. The entire house and grounds are beautiful. One could go on, but perhaps at this stage it is enough to just say it is unique. Like a unicorn, except that it actually exists.
Part of this is that the meals at Faros - they serve breakfast and dinner - are truly exceptional. Every dinner was different and excellent in its own way. Yasmine has great pride in her cooking, and justly so. It means that every little thing is wonderfully done and beautifully served. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. I long to return to Faros.
Situated in a quiet location, overlooking the beach of Chorefto, the friendly family Hotel Agnadi is only 5 minutes’ walk to beach, and a short distance from taverns and shops.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they always welcomed us with a smile :)
The location was very convenient, only a few minutes walk from the beach and the village. The room was clean and tidy, nice view from the balcony.

In the southern part of the village of Tsagkarada, on a hill overlooking the sea and the village, is the Diogenis Hotel.
The hotel is built in a rustic style and the rooms are really pampering. We rented a triple room and a double room. Both were beautifully designed. The double bed is designed as a four-poster bed. The interior design of the rooms is even more beautiful than the photos on the website.
Chrisa and her husband (the owners of the hotel) run it at the highest level.
We felt it was not just a hotel but a home.
Chrisa and her husband helped with every request and question, spoiled us beyond any expectation. Always made sure we felt comfortable and safe.
The beds are big (even for tall people like me) and the mattresses are very comfortable.
The breakfast served is just great. The fresh bread baked every morning, pies, omelets, salads, spreads, cakes, cold and hot drinks and more. Everything from fresh and high-quality raw materials. Definitely at a higher level than breakfasts in 5-star hotels.
The whole hotel and the rooms in particular are very clean.
The location of the hotel is excellent for anyone who comes with a car because there is a lot of parking (unlike in the villages), especially for a large car.
It’s an old traditional hotel. The main season is during the winter, so it was half empty. There is parking next to the hotel. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The Chania Palace **** has big rooms with and a big outside terrace of about 16 or 20m2. You have the view of the sea from there, partially blocked by the hotel building on the other side of the road, but still nice. For winter they have a fireplace in the room which should be quite nice. Some towels weren’t clean but got changed right away.
Woww!! Can't even start to explain how AMAZING this stay was! Manthos and his all family and crew members were synced to make us feel at home but in a boutique hotel! The place is beautiful with outstanding views, an outstanding standard of cleaning and hosting!
This was the best stay we had in all of Greece and basically, one of the best stays we both have ever had...
Thank you Manthos! It's obvious you are just delivering your passion and your grandfather will and standards for hospitality.
Great hotel. It was my second time here and I really loved it both times. A very good variety of choices for breakfast and options for lunch or dinner. The room was really comfortable and very very clean! The nature around the resort offers the perfect ambience for a good night's sleep, but also a great scene morning walks. Our hosts were very polite and friendly and welcomed us fondly.
Nice hotel to stay in. The staff was really friendly and very welcoming and the room was spacious. A good option to stay during the winter time to explore the mountains though in our case we stayed to explore the beautiful beaches of the Pelion area (~30min by car). Comfortable beds and free parking area nearby the hotel (2mins walking). Good quality price. Recommended.
Breakfast was very good. Location Fantastic. The owner Mr.Zaferis was the best owner I have met for the last year. Very polite, professional and he really made our stay to be remembered for future.
Food in the evening was perfect, and very reasonably priced. View from the hotel - it is something you have to experience.
The hotel is well worth a visit. We went there during a heatwave, and it was a blessing - 11 degrees cooler than in Volos. Stunning views from the terrace, nice cafe/restaurant. I am sure it is even nicer in the winter
