The area of Zagorochoria is exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and we visited many stunning places. Jaw dropping beauty. The hotel had everything we needed. Even slippers. The only reason we scored it a 9 and not a 10 is cause the beds were a bit hard and the shower head and handle couldn't be fixed high enough to be able to shower without holding it. The owners couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was continental with even home made traditional savoury pies. Delicious. I would visit again in a heart beat. Very good for money and all amenities at your door step, taverna and mini market. 45min drive to Giannena and 30mins to the Vikos gorge. In love with the beauty of the place.

A small hotel in a small village where only a few people live. Very nice. Sometimes the restaurant is closed, but ask the manager if she can cook you a standard Greek meal. For me she did, and it was great.

Incredible hospitality, delicious breakfast that varied every day, and such friendly space. They were so welcoming and knowledgeable, and were pet friendly which was a huge bonus. (They loved our dog, and she loved them)
Beautiful mountain hotel in cute Elati. After coronavirus Greek mountains are empty, we were nearly alone at the hotel, yet stuff took all the effort to make our stay comfortable.
Our family room was large and had a terrace. Breakfast was amazing, freshly prepared and rich. And we also ate dinner here, which while lacking several items from the menu, was very good.
One thing we will remember is the view... Breathtaking! We hiked Bikos gorge on the next day, but IMO views from Elati were even better.
Athina Hotel is beautifully located in the peaceful Elati Vilage. The room is beautiful, well equipped, with comfortable bed and magnificent view from the room terrace.
The owner was extremely nice, assisted us with finding great restaurants in the vicinity, and pointed out perfect day trips in Zagoria.
Breakfast was reach and tasty, including local pastries and coffee as we like it (which they remembered the next day ☺️)

This is a boutique hotel literally in the forest. You can easily get to many hiking trails in just few minutes drive from the hotel. Alternatively you can have a walk in a wild forest, just get up a few steps up. The view from the window and a private terrace is simply astonishing. The breakfast is traditional Greek one and it is so…ooo tasty! Clean sparkling white bathroom. Friendly and helpful stuff. We will definitely come back again!
Our stay at Shamrock Elati was unique, since we felt like we were in a family. It's a quiet, traditional hotel, with magnificent views and excellent hospitality from the owners. Breakfast from Ms. Popi is amazing but the same applies to every food/dessert produced by her kitchen. The next time we visit Zagorochoria, for sure we will stay at Shamrock Elati again.
The hotel is located in Zagori area and fits those who wish to go around this area (otherwise it is in the middle of no-where). The hotel is very comfortable, the team is very friendly and keen to help, the food is outstanding (dinner is optional, too).
All in all - we were very happy and pleased with the hotel and the staff.
The location is amazing with beautiful view. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh and very good home made patisserie and jams.They did a lot of efforts to help us with milk allergy and took care each morning to a fresh and delicious safe food. We will sure return to this hotel.
We loved our stay at Hotel Athina. The hotel is in a perfect location that overlooks the mountains and from there you can do day trips to different parts of Zagorochoria. The rooms were spacious and nice. The breakfast was superb and the owners and staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended!
