Ghermaniko Guesthouse, hotel in Damouchari

Offering sea views, Ghermaniko Guesthouse is an accommodation situated in Damouchari, 200 metres from Damouchari Beach and less than 1 km from Papa Nero Beach.

A quiet little piece of paradise. Katerina and her family who run the guesthouse and the one adjacent are kind, present and go above and beyond to make every guest feel at home. The rooms are impeccably decorated, a historic building designed with a local feel but not over the top. They were clean, comfortable and warm. The other guests were quiet, respectful and friendly so all in all was an absolute pleasure. Recommend booking for a few nights!

Hotel Petradi, hotel in Damouchari

Offering stylish accommodation with fireplace, an outdoor pool and a spacious terrace with panoramic Aegean Sea view, this Pelion Guesthouse is set in a charming stone-built mansion in Kalamaki.

I liked the hotel location and a breathtaking mountain and sea view. The owner of the hotel welcomed us with incredible hospitality. The hotel is built in stone. It's a great place in that location.

Diogenis Hotel, hotel in Damouchari

In the southern part of the village of Tsagkarada, on a hill overlooking the sea and the village, is the Diogenis Hotel. The hotel is built in a rustic style and the rooms are really pampering. We rented a triple room and a double room. Both were beautifully designed. The double bed is designed as a four-poster bed. The interior design of the rooms is even more beautiful than the photos on the website. Chrisa and her husband (the owners of the hotel) run it at the highest level. We felt it was not just a hotel but a home. Chrisa and her husband helped with every request and question, spoiled us beyond any expectation. Always made sure we felt comfortable and safe. The beds are big (even for tall people like me) and the mattresses are very comfortable. The breakfast served is just great. The fresh bread baked every morning, pies, omelets, salads, spreads, cakes, cold and hot drinks and more. Everything from fresh and high-quality raw materials. Definitely at a higher level than breakfasts in 5-star hotels. The whole hotel and the rooms in particular are very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent for anyone who comes with a car because there is a lot of parking (unlike in the villages), especially for a large car.

Faros, hotel in Damouchari

Set amidst an olive grove right in front of the sea, Faros offers rooms with unobstructed sea views and has an on-site museum and a restaurant.

What I felt about Faros was that I had entered a dream of mine. That is, a place I have always dreamed about somehow, and now the dream had come true. It begins with its being situated far away from any tourist hum, in the middle of an olive grove and garden, and right on the sea. And it has to do with the special quality of light in the place, because the rooms are so filled with light which comes both from the mountain and olives and from the sea. I felt this way about my room too, because not only was it large, with large windows and balcony doors, but, since I had requested and received a corner room, it opened onto an enormous balcony overlooking both the olive groves on the mountain slope and the sea, and with a huge chestnut tree growing onto it. The entire house and grounds are beautiful. One could go on, but perhaps at this stage it is enough to just say it is unique. Like a unicorn, except that it actually exists. Part of this is that the meals at Faros - they serve breakfast and dinner - are truly exceptional. Every dinner was different and excellent in its own way. Yasmine has great pride in her cooking, and justly so. It means that every little thing is wonderfully done and beautifully served. All the staff are very pleasant and friendly. I long to return to Faros.

    perfect freedom

perfect freedom A Magical and Enchanting Stay at Damouchari Hotel My recent stay at the Damouchari Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in a picturesque location, this hotel truly offers a unique experience, surrounded by two stunning beaches that have even been used as a filming location for a movie. The enchanting surroundings are just the beginning of what makes this place so special. The hotel's owner, Mrs. Sophia, and her team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. Their exceptional service and genuine warmth made us feel like we were part of their family. They were always on hand to cater to our every need and truly exceeded all expectations. One of the highlights of our stay was the superb quality of the food. Each day, we were treated to fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared meals made by Mrs. Sophia and her wonderful family. The dishes were truly exceptional, and each bite was a testament to their dedication to providing an unforgettable culinary experience. The hotel rooms are situated in a charming garden filled with fruit trees and the delightful scent of flowers. Our room was clean and comfortable, though I might suggest adding slightly brighter lighting inside the rooms - though I understand that this might be less romantic! In conclusion, our stay at Damouchari Hotel was truly magical, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been their guests. We eagerly anticipate returning next year and cannot recommend this enchanting gem of a hotel enough.

Heaven. Picturesque seaside escape. Perfect for my planned mom and daughter trip, but I can’t wait to come back with my Husband and for longer! Be prepared for a very windy drive, it’s not the easiest spot to get to, but once you are there you won’t want to leave.

A beautiful quiet spot with just the kind of relaxed atmosphere we like and didn’t really expect to find. If you’re looking for nightlife and lots of people, this may not be your dream location. I don’t think a tour bus could get there let alone turn around and get back.

One scene from the movie Mamma mia was filmed under your balcony. View of two beautiful small coves. The owner is very friendly, the internet is good considering the rest of Greece. Parking is unfortunately remote, but the environment and facilities are extraordinary.
