We received a really warm welcome from our host. The room is beautiful with a lot of attention to detail. Paula was keen to make sure that we would be comfortable, and asked if there was anything else she could provide us with. A very full breakfast was left for us at the time we requested. If we return to the area, we would hope to stay again.

Highly recommend Ashburnam. Hosts very warm & friendly. No problem accommodating for breakfast dietary requirements (wife Gluten Free) which was also excellent. Room cleaned to a high standard & bed very comfy.

Very comfortable and very clean. Quiet location over-looking open fields. Plenty of free parking. There are two bedrooms with double four-poster beds. The rooms are particularly pleasant and comfortable. Both with ensuite shower/loo. You have the whole cottage and gardens so plenty of room for families. You are about 20 minutes from Beverley. This cottage is self-catering with well equipped kitchen, large enough for a family of six at the kitchen table. Two triple-seat sofas in the lounge, plus chair. Recommended.

This is the best pod we have ever stayed in. There was everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Unlike other pods, which are glorified sheds, this was a home from home. The weather wasn't kind to us, but the pod was warm and cosy. The mattress was better than mattresses you get in hotels. There was plenty of really practical storage (despite other comments I've read). Martin was lovely, too. The location is perfect for a peaceful retreat. We had a beautiful view over open fields, and the night sky was stunning. The Railway Inn is great for food.

The location is great. We were forewarned that WiFi was unavailable but at odd times a connection was found but only for a random amount of time. Probably something to do with the weather. Watching the birds visit the garden easily made up for being out of contact.
The cafe is really nice and well worth visiting. The hosts were very welcoming even though we had arrived earlier than we stated.

The location was perfect for us, we loved having a view of fields and the horses, and our room was lovely, we had the room with the terrace and it was just lovely, modern, spotlessly clean, quiet, warm with everything we needed, cannot fault the place at all.
