From the moment we walked through the door to when we left, we loved it. Jack was very good, showed us our room and explained where everything was. We were amazed at the size of the room (Garden Room) and it was so clean and everything was provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable and it was very peaceful. Bathroom was huge and again, all was good. We booked for dinner and that did not disappoint! Lovely menu and very helpful staff. Food was cooked to perfection and just enough. Breakfast was very good. Thank you to the wonderful staff who made our stay just what we needed. Keep up the good work - you obviously take pride in it

Mulberry Barn, hotel in Whitchurch

Mulberry Barn in Micheldever near Winchester features a garden and a terrace. Free WiFi is provided. At the bed and breakfast, each room comes with a wardrobe.

There was absolutely nothing there, we couldn’t even get a drink. So we abandoned staying in the area or staying at the property. The check in was quite late, we just decided to drive home instead of waiting around for over an hour with no where to go and nothing to do. Obviously I paid for the room up front, I sent an email explaining that we had decided not to stay. We have never had any communication since with the property. They got our money for nothing so should be quite happy. Has put me off using booking.com which I use a lot. Overall a massive waste of money

Just what i expected from a tiny town. Possibly a few more 'local' shops would have been nice, but this does not happen these days. The Mill is a great attraction and very informative, with free parking. and the nearby Bombay Gin distillery is one of the best tours I have been to.

Very friendly &helpful staff, nothing to much for them you only have to ask. Excellent fresh cooked food well kept bar with local ale. Comfortable beds, walk in shower good old fashioned hospitality. This is an old historic building with a modern twist. It was nice to have a meal and relax in the bar and not to have to drive or walk to far. Reasonably priced especially during high season. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice little village and friendly people in the pubs and around. We visited a very good Indian restaurant called Blue ginger and I would recommend that. It's near Bombay distillery, the main reason for our stay there. There is a bus from Whitchurch to the distillery.
