What welcoming staff and so accommodating. When we arrived the kitchen wasn't open for lunch yet, but they took our order and served the food really quickly. Chips were delicious! They also checked us in a little earlier as we were on our way to a wedding. Breakfast was perfectly cooked. The rooms are all newly refurbished with courtesy lights in the bathroom and wardrobes. Clean, crisp sheets and towels. We were very impressed. If we are out that way again and need to stay over, we will certainly choose here. Lovely story about the Inn too.

Our room was quiet, overlooking a lawn with views of a wood. It was adequately furnished, but not luxurious. There was no noise transmission from other rooms or the corridor and no noise from the service area. Excellent !

Located about 6 miles north of Winchester in a quiet location. Satnav made it easy to find. Charles is a friendly guy very willing to make sure we had everything we needed. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. Breakfast was exactly what we asked for, very well cooked, served in the airy main guest area of the b&b. Beautiful lawns to the rear, very close easy parking to the front.

Just what i expected from a tiny town.

Just what i expected from a tiny town. Possibly a few more 'local' shops would have been nice, but this does not happen these days. The Mill is a great attraction and very informative, with free parking. and the nearby Bombay Gin distillery is one of the best tours I have been to.

Very friendly &helpful staff, nothing to much for them you only have to ask. Excellent fresh cooked food well kept bar with local ale. Comfortable beds, walk in shower good old fashioned hospitality. This is an old historic building with a modern twist. It was nice to have a meal and relax in the bar and not to have to drive or walk to far. Reasonably priced especially during high season. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice little village and friendly people in the pubs and around. We visited a very good Indian restaurant called Blue ginger and I would recommend that. It's near Bombay distillery, the main reason for our stay there. There is a bus from Whitchurch to the distillery.
