Staff attentive and very friendly. Went that extra mile for guests. Room was cosy and had character. Felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. Little touches were appreciated, such as Happy Anniversary written on dessert plates. Would definitely visit again. .

The hotel was clean and beautifully furnished (and smelt nice). The staff were lovely and friendly and genuinely wanted to help. The extra touches in the room were nice too. Breakfast was amazing! The location was fab being only a few mins walk to York City centre and on a road with fab eateries.
