Fox and Goat, hotel in Waterstock

Set in Waterstock, 10 km from Notley Abbey, Fox and Goat offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Easy to find off the M40 and as traffic so heavy we arrived later than planned but the host rang to check if we wanted any food, which we did, so they kept to kitchens open for us , which was kind. Good nights sleep and a heart breakfast set us up for the day. Would stay again.

The Coach and Horses, hotel in Waterstock

Situated in Oxford, 7.7 km from University of Oxford, The Coach and Horses features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Its location outside Oxford was great, just being able to be in a rural pub was a great experience for a couple of Kiwis. The bedroom was cosy with a good bathroom - I take it these were the original stables in the earlier days which made it feel more special The food is amazing - dinner and breakfast

Everything was exceptional. We stayed for our wedding night and the attention to the littlest of detail was superb. We felt very privileged to stay there. It didn't feel like a hotel it felt somebody's home. We felt very well looked after and the staff couldn't do enough for us. We will return.

DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry, hotel in Waterstock

Located within 17 acres of countryside, DoubleTree by Hilton Oxford Belfry is 8 miles from the historic centre of Oxford. Located just off the M40, there is a spa and swimming pool for guests to use.

Well located for Thame and the M40. We were dining at Le Manoir which is only two miles away, so convenient. We received a warm welcome along with a freshly baked cookie. The hotel is modern, accessible and communal areas are nicely decorated. Lovely inner courtyards and nice bar areas. The room was a fairly good size. Good shower/toiletries/fluffy towels. The bed was comfortable. A good supply of coat hangers in the wardrobe, also good supply of coffee/tea/milk and complimentary spring water.

The hotel and room was adequate, clean and a decent size with nice size tele. Location on the M40 services good for food and only a short drive to Thornhill Park & Ride. We’d stay again at the Ramada but would not add breakfast which was a real let down.

They assumed everyone there traveled by car so there was no crossing near by to catch buses. Location if your driving was great, coming from London with Oxford tube was great! The local bus was okay for where it was, hotel Ramada had lots of issues, like booking of executive room to normal double room shower door broken but all the staffs there where very help and try to do their best. Do dislike Oxford but will not be rushing back any time at all

    Good location re: M40.

Good location re: M40. Lots of free parking and helpful, friendly staff. Did not eat there so cannot comment on food facilities but room was clean, reasonable size and value for money. The faulty shower did however cause delays in us leaving and the fault should have been discovered during cleaning.
