The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the food was amazing, and we loved the breakfast and sandwiches. It was quiet. Very spacious. The shower was huge. Absolutely delightful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And the area was stunning. Great to reach the areas needed. We also had no trouble parking.

When we arrived all the doors were wide open but no one appeared to be about, this was a little disconcerting as we had arrived at the correct time. The heating was not on but we soon figured that out and then went to put the log burner on to heat the place through. Unfortunately there was no wood so we messaged the hosts who left some at the door. We actually didn't end up using it as the underfloor heating had warmed the place up nicely.
Breakfast items were provided as detailed in the instructions , with a carton of UHT milk and butter and juice in the fridge as well as fresh local eggs.
Lovely location once we found it using whatthreewords app. The Snug is very quirky and cosy with everything you would need for a short stay.
Comfortable bed and large bedroom , plenty of power points etc.

An older house with plenty of charm but with all the modern comforts. Peter and Lynda were very friendly and generous hosts. The breakfasts were a treat

Warminster is a perfect location to see the many sites the area has to offer, the local train station is convenient to Bath, Bristol and Salisbury all worth a visit for a day. We went out twice for an evening meal, The Lamb at Hindon and The Prince Leopald at Upton Lovell, food was fantastic, but make sure you book ahead it can get really busy.

Great for walking and cycling - peaceful location. Small market town with several supermarkets and local shops. Nice walk around Nature Reserve and lake. Best walks up into the fields beyond the railway line - especially in the winter snow.

We visit this hotel annually when we go to Longleat which is very close. We love the character. This year we had a family room which gave us masses of space. Free parking. Wetherspoons breakfast downstairs, 2 bottles water, chocolate as well as tea and coffee in room. Love the secondary double glazing which doubles as fridge for water and juice. Very quiet on top floor.

Easy to park near the high Street. Spent 2 hours walking around shops and local area. Followed a 'blue plaque' walk we downloaded. We thought this was a nice old town to potter around before visiting relatives nearby.

Food was delicious with a good selection of vegetarian/vegan options. Staff were all amazingly helpful, patient and friendly. Facilities were great and the outside dining area, outside pool/jacuzzi and outside bar cabana made it feel like an exotic holiday rather than a UK hotel break. The room we were given was fantastic - exceeded all our expectations and was so luxurious that we didn't want to leave it ..... we were only lured away by the great spa and delicious cocktails!
What a great place.
As soon as we walked in we were in love.

The Old Bell is in the centre of Warminster with it's own car park. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was warm and well decorated. The selection at breakfast was good.
Hotel was exceptional, great staff, room was large and comfortable. Never been to a Weatherspoon hotel before, but will defiantly stay at another one if they are all like this one.
