Lovely 'home from home' place. Felt very welcomed. Loved the setting, bed comfy, could help ourselves to coffee, tea etc and help yourself breakfast yummy (cereals, fruit, yoghurt, fresh homemade bread and preserves, boiled eggs, teas/fresh ground coffee, fruit juice). Very dog friendly too and our 2 Cockapoos loved the fields around the property. Lovely quiet area too.

This is a beautiful old Inn with 5 ensuite rooms.

This is a beautiful old Inn with 5 ensuite rooms. We were in room 5, which was so quiet. The rooms have creaky floor boards in places which we loved (it is after all a grade II listed building). Bed was very comfortable - firm but soft. The staff were amazing, very helpful, chatty and always had a smile. The food & service is excellent. Staying here you also have free entrance to walk the grounds of Stourhead, whenever you want. You can never tire of the walks round here. We can highly recommend a stay here.
