Very nice rooms with spacious bathroom. Free parking and facility to charge EV cars. Great surroundings, so nice for long walks. Breakfast had a variety of choices so above average.

It was a total disappointment and I immediately asked to cancel and was told I was wrong to have expected it to be deluxe as advertised given it’s price- in other words it was the view of the proprietor that it was my fault that their place was awful, which was why presumably they also operated under a no cancellation policy for letting the room.

Very nice place to stay with the kids. It was short weekend stay but we enjoyed it a lot, especially that was close ride to York which was our main destination. Very clean, comfortable beds. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.

I travel alot with my career and this by a mile is the best B and B I've stayed in. Well done Christine amazing work. The value for money is brilliant with a full English thrown in .

Lovely little village, very friendly people .
Lovely little village, very friendly people . We shopped there, we purchased items in the Whiskey Shop ( my husband was so impressed by the owner’s knowledge of the products), Cooperative, Bakehouse (the scones were superb) and the Butchers (haven't eaten the sausages yet). We ate at The New Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks.

Nice small village come small town .
Nice small village come small town . Pubs like pubs shud be . Sat in fish and chip shop for ours very tasty. Nice walks along the river. Takeaways little grocery shop . We ate on putt last evening had meal 3 cups lovely food the desserts weren’t as good . Staff friendly in all the places we used. Not far from York and lovely villages we past on way to pocklington
