Hotel Indigo - Stratford Upon Avon, an IHG Hotel, hotel in Shottery

The central 4-star Hotel Indigo - Stratford Upon Avon is a 5-minute walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The hotel offers free WiFi throughout all areas of the hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel on previous occasions and as such you can gather that we like it. We stayed in on of the Tudor rooms as we like the period pieces. The room and en-suite were spotless. Really enjoyed the stay and will be going back.

This was not so much character cottage, as tatty town house.

This was not so much character cottage, as tatty town house. It was grubby, dusty and uncomfortable. No free to air tv. There was a lack of the basics, like toilet paper and the kitchen seemed to be a repository for left over junk.
