The service was excellent. The breakfast cook was very entertaining and the evening meal was excellent.

Plaitford is a small village with an extremely busy road running through it. However, there are some beautiful walking areas on the doorstep. One evening, we dined at The Rockingham Arms, just in the next village. Booking is essential. Exceptional gastro pub. Plenty of places to visit nearby, such as Salisbury or Romsey.
