We stayed for 3 nights and our room was spotless, warm and very peaceful. It was cleaned to a high standard every day. It was a bonus to have a fully stocked coffee machine and tv with options for prime & Netflix . Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Very nice room, and fantastic bar. Dinner was exceptional. Recently under new management, the quality has really stepped up with a new chef on board who cooked us an amazing dinner.

The place was physically beautiful and the grounds were gorgeous. I especially liked the fact that the grounds opened into the forest where we took the dog hiking. We had a ground floor room which was also very convenient with the dog.

Plaitford is a small village with an extremely busy road running through it. However, there are some beautiful walking areas on the doorstep. One evening, we dined at The Rockingham Arms, just in the next village. Booking is essential. Exceptional gastro pub. Plenty of places to visit nearby, such as Salisbury or Romsey.
