Beach, hills, food, scenic walks-The Kelp house., hotel in Peacehaven

Beach, hills, food, scenic walks-The Kelp house. Is a recently renovated holiday home in Peacehaven, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden.

Looks nice in pictures, disappointing when you look further inside and area very unappealing, especially the houses at the end of the track not suitable for wheelchair users due to very uneven track and parking area

Peacehaven very old small town , some shops on main road , bigger shops are inland 1\2 mile or so . Good walking area, along the sea front , walk to Newhaven , Brighton .. best not to drive into Brighton. Bus or a good walk .. or even catch the ferry to France !

We used Peacehaven as a base to visit the south coast .

We used Peacehaven as a base to visit the south coast .There were shops and restaurants nearby but we did not use them. Peacehaven is at the top of white cliffs , there are steps and pathway down to an undercliff walkway which is perfect for an evening walk to watch the sun go down .There is also a pathway along the cliff top.

The property was all we needed for the week.

The property was all we needed for the week. The price was great too! Peacehaven was okay, there were some cafes, greggs, costa, co-op, corner shop and a charity shop. I wish I had walked down to the beach at peace haven. We had spent most of our time in brighton, which was only 30mins away and the buses were frequent :)

A lovely quiet location but with lots of places to eat and drink. This is a clifftop location but there is access to lots of small coves . There are a lot of steps down to the seafront but there is also a long ramp that you can take if you can't manage the steps. Lovely scenic walks.

Peacehaven is somewhere we have visited for over twenty years since my Parents retired here. The Bars and Restaurants are all within a short drive or a long walk from most places. Ideal to explore Lewes, Rottingdean or Newhaven for the Dieppe Ferry Crossing.
