Absolutely disgusting hotel!! The worst service we have ever encountered
This small boutique hotel located in the centre of Bath, just around the corner from the iconic Pulteney Bridge, The Roseate Villa Bath is set within its own gardens and has a private car parking.

The room was amazing. Probably one of the best we have ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for us.
The breakfasts were also excellent.
Only meal we had was breakfast.
Eight features free WiFi throughout the property and views of city in Bath.

Everything - we even had an early check-in which was a bonus (requested but not expected)
Bathroom had a bathtub as well as a shower.
Quiet, excellent & convenient location.
Staff are fantastic.
Very photogenic village. We had a good walk around, and spent ages in one back lane, just looking at and taking photos of the incredible variety of plants growing on a very old stone wall ! The village has a Co-op store, though we didn't use that.

A small picturesque village, the parish church is well worth a visit across the field from the rear of the George Inn. There are plenty of country walks in the vicinity and historic places such as Bath and Wells are within easy reach.

Ten Inn was great , not so keen on the Plaine , but the whole ambiance in the Inn was exactly how we expected it to be , the outside area was stunning, food okay but could be better. Staff lovely , not a lot in the village apart from
The Inn and Fleur de Lys . It’s easy to get around by car to bath and Frome

I loved it.
I loved it. It was like going back in time to the 14th century. Everything was so authentic and gave a real feeling of living in those times. Our bedroom was large with two windows and views across the fields to the church and hills in the distance. The only criticism was the bathroom was very small and having to duck when coming out or suffer a bang on the head, but I realise they were much shorter in those days and they certainly didn't have bathrooms! We enjoyed dinner in the pub on the first night of our stay and a lovely breakfast the two mornings we were there. The staff were lovely and very helpful and happy creating a good atmosphere.
We used the park and ride into Bath and enjoyed a full day going to the Thermae Baths for the afternoon, which is a brilliant experience, a long walk round Bath to the Royal Crescent and an evening meals in the Crystal Palace pub near the Abbey. All in all a lovely short break which I would recommend to anyone who has an interest in history .

Lovely quiet area with beautiful countryside walks. Local pub’s overlooking the green and church with outstanding views also there is a coop in the village. Only a 20 min drive into Bath. Beautiful cottages in an idyllic setting. Loved the area and hope to return one day.

Small quaint village, 2 pubs within walking distance but up hill, and coming back you will need a torch as there are no street lights. There is a coop and a lovely farm/cafe shop, but this is a 5 min drive away. The farm shop is down a windy country road but well worth a visit and it has Electric car charging too.

When you book the photos are for the George hotel only a historic hotel, we ended up the a property across the road the Plaine which is nothing like the photos for the main hotel. Food is pretentious, the menu reads exotic but fails. Also had three pints of beer a large gin and tonic and one ploughman's, ended up paying for two ploughman's an over charge of approx. £15 when I paid by card (after three pints there was no point in disputing the cost).
We had a room in The Plaine, a building opposite the main George Inn, It felt a bit more exclusive. It was a very appointed room, comfortable and very plush. The food at the George Inn was excellent, the staff were well informed of the menu, attentive and friendly.
Breakfast the next morning, which was included in our deal, was excellent, lots of choice and cooked fresh. I highly rate and recommend this hotel as a beautiful Cotswold getaway.
Soaked in history. Changed hands recently, and some rooms have been refurbished. The hotel is always fully booked, and we got the last room in the annex. Our room was good with a huge double bed, and nice touches with shortbread and milk in a small thermos to go with the hot drinks. Small bar and decent sized dining room and attached barn! Good menu and excellent breakfast choices. Helpful and friendly staff.
Our stay at The George Inn was wonderful. Amazing hotel full of history. The room King Charles was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. We had two great nights sleep. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We enjoyed evening meal twice which was delicious..plus two breakfast. Plenty of parking and a bus stop across the road for our trip into Bath.
we stayed at the hotel on Christmas Day. arrived at the place just one hour before the closing time and they offered us the Christmas lunch on the house. That was very kind and thank you. we were impressed from the staff they were all very lovely and kind. the breakfast was lovely and the location really beautiful! highly recommended to everyone
The sccomodation was fantastic (coach room, mind your head if you are over 5' 5" 😁) atomoslpheric, steeped in history, a lovely place to stay with friendly staff and the breakfast probabably the best I've ever had in any hotel.
Fantastic and historic hotel with loads of character. Room to match.
Breakfast was excellent, dinner very good but!
Staff excellent and very friendly, especially the lady from Italy.
