I stayed in the balcony room. Excellent size and comfortable.

Marsha and all the team were very welcoming, friendly, and very helpful.
The food was excellent, especially if you like your fish. I had the Lamb, which was lovely. I would highly recommend it. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice. I personally had the kippers, which was great.
Wood Hall is positioned at the end of a long dramatic drive, surrounded by 100 acres of woodland and manicured lawns. It is a 25-minute drive from Leeds and Harrogate, and 40 minutes from York.

Nice outdoor seating areas. Bar was spacious with plenty of seating. Hotel was in a very quiet area with plenty of free parking. Staff were pleasant.
