The hosts were great, very friendly, talkative and very funny. They greeted us and showed us to the property and answered all our questions. The house is surrounded by their beautiful farmland and their rare breeds that live there. Views were excellent and the location perfect. Very comfortable and had everything you needed - even a tin of biscuits! We would definitely stay there again.

Gerry was very welcoming, as was her lovely cat. Barn House was a lovely place to stay, plenty of space, very clean. Breakfast was very good food; it included wonderful homemade bread, jam, marmalade and apple juice. One of those memorable places to stay, in a very good way. We are very keen to return.

Staff friendly but due to location opposite a nightclub and the fact it’s an old building with very poor sound insulation not the place for a good sleep.

Location was excellent - superb drive through mid-Wales to the Marches.
Accommodation within the convert stables was superb, high quality and welcoming.
The inn has been equally refurbished to high standard and like the proprietors very welcoming.
The menu was gluten and dairy free and varied - awesome not to have to ask which choices could be gluten-free - hope the George retains this approach and achieve the accreditation.
The food was excellent.
Beautiful rolling hills countryside. Small narrow country lanes were a challeneg. Especially when the sat-nav took you down them.
Lovely cafe in Clun called the Post Card Cafe, good coffee and delicious cakes.

It's in a wonderful location very rural with pretty views but it's a dormer village, usual amenities for locals and except for the pub nothing much for visitors except perhaps it's closeness to Offa's Dyke. Wasn't there long enough to make a proper review this is just my general opinion. would recommend pub to family and friends who wanted to explore this part of the country, perhaps for one or two nights.
