The location was excellent, within comfortable walking distance of the centre of town and the coastal walk. I had an ensuite room which was spacious, well appointed with the necessary coffee and tea etc, and clean. I'm a theatre nurse and a little OCD about cleanliness; the room and hotel satisfied my picky expectations.

    Guests can walk to the surrounding areas like the castle and the church where an excellent view of the coast can be photographed. A very good place to eat is the Bistro and the County Members round the corner. The zoo (Reserve) is not to be missed.
