My partner and myself loved everything about it. Sean and Gemma were wonderful so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the hotel.
The evening meal was superb and the breakfast was just as nice with plenty of choice.
Our room was luxurious, comfortable and clean. We honestly couldn't fault anything about our stay, we found a little gem and would definitely return, also recommend to anyone who is planning on visiting the Cotswolds to stay here. Bampton is a pretty place and an ideal touring base.

Our accommodation was large and comfy. Despite being close to a well used road, The Trout is located in a quiet area. We stayed mid week when the pub was less busy than probably weekends. We had dinner and breakfast there, both of which were excellent

Absolutely fair for the price and you can’t expect much for what you’re paying - as their rate is great. The cottage itself was nice, good communal facilities and rooms absolutely did what you needed them to do if you just need to rest your head for a night.
