Location was perfect, the Shepherds Hut was exceptional, tastefully decorated, the separate hut for the shower and toilet was just as well maintained and all the added little touches added by the host Carrie made it a wonderful weekend.
Loved the marshmallows and sticks provided for toasting on the firepit.
The local pub 'The Original Ball' within walking distance with lovely food and friendly staff and customers.
We just used Llynclys as a base. It was easy to access Oswestry, Welshpool and Shrewsbury (lovely town) and the Montgomery canal and aqueducts. If you want to eat somewhere good it is necessary to book, we made the mistake of not doing so and ended up somewhere very basic.

Llynclys is a small village near Pant which has more facilities. It is about 10 minutes by car to Oswestry where there are lots of restaurants, shops and pubs. The nearest pub and shop are in Pant which is about 5 minutes by car. There are a lot of beautiful places to visit too long to list within an hour's drive, lakes, waterfalls, Chester, canal trips, walks and cycle rides.
