It is very cozy and comfortably warm with the underfloor heating. We sat outside for a bit one night and there was no sound whatsoever it was so peaceful. I would recommend taking the canal trip from Llangollen over the aqueduct and walking back along the canal path.

We used LLangollen as a stop off for our trip around Wales and were pleasantly surprised. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend as a stop off if you are visiting Wales. Also, we would recommend visiting the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, which is very close and well worth the visit. Amazing architecture for the time it was built

A lovely “ varied” town with lots of watering holes and eateries. Lots of walks to suit all tastes. The Corn Mill, The Bridge end to name but two. Stand on the bridge and watch the white water rafters and kayakers on the river.

Llangollen has got it all - beautiful countryside with walks in easy reach and spectacular scenery together with a busy , creative town . The Food Fair was on while I was visiting and live music was on stage in the town square - food from all over the world was on street =stalls - lovely atmosphere . Llangollen has train and canal travel , the white water river runs through the town and under the famous bridge .Canoeing takes place - not for the beginner .The ruins of Castell Dinas Bran over look the town-it's a good walk up there to see them close to and the Panorama view is worth more than a look. The International Eisteddfod happens here each year .

    Great place to visit.

Great place to visit. The Chain bridge Hotel was outstanding! Afternoon tea at a cafe in Llangollen itself. Totally recommend this place. Staff were exceptional. Car or transport required if travelling around. A prime place for walking and activities.

Llangollen can be a traffic nightmare.

Llangollen can be a traffic nightmare. Plas Newydd is quirky but very interesting, and the high aqueduct is something not to be missed. The area looks very attractive for walking. Hope to visit Horseshoe Pass on a clearer day and to walk up to Castell Dinas Bran

Superb cottage in a great location minutes from the centre of Llangollen. If you like corporate hotel rooms, and plain magnolia paint, this is not the place for you. The whole cottage is an interior design classic, all themed around the opera. Everywhere you look there is something new to see and the creativeness of the owners is fantastic. Also lots of little nice touches that we weren't expecting made the stay that little bit more special. Would highly recommend and go back there again.

Location is great, in the centre of Llangollen, perfect for all amenities and places to eat. The hotel is above a cafe, where breakfast is taken. The owners also run a business in outdoor sports. The whole atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Breakfast is beautifully cooked and with some more unusual choices than the average B & B. The room are clean and nicely, simply furnished - lots of wood! Fresh ground coffee on the tea tray every day was a much appreciated touch.

Location was spot on. The apartment was comfortable and dog friendly. We had issues with hot water however that was sorted ASAP which impressed us..We had trouble with the WiFi we didn't complain as we were way to busy enjoying the fabulous walks around Llangollen. The Welsh people are so friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed everywhere we went. So many fab places to eat around the area all dog friendly. Looking forward to going back in the summer months.
