The Royal Hop Pole Wetherspoon, hotel in Little Washbourne

Set in Tewkesbury, The Royal Hop Pole Wetherspoon features a garden, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property.

It’s a wonderful old building, even with all the extensions and reconfigured spaces, and the beer garden is attractive. The location couldn’t be bettered, very close to the abbey, the many shops, cafes and restaurants. Free hotel parking. As the hotel backs onto the river, you can gaze across extensive meadows to the Malvern Hills. The room was quiet, comfortable and a good size. The staff were polite, affable and helpful. The breakfast was edible and inexpensive, but mediocre. The staff on duty were helpful and cheerful.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Room was nice with a lovely view overlooking the river. Plenty of outdoor seating too so I expect it gets very busy in the summer. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of car parking space.
