Beautiful surroundings , so peaceful.
Beautiful lodge , lodge equipped with everything needed , washer, second bathroom , microwave etc.
On site - shop , pizza place , table tennis table , sedgeway and bike hire , splash zone , new forest walks, exercise / gym machines and more.
The welcome shortbread and drinks were a nice touch.
The owner was very helpful.
We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the near future.

Excellent breakfast in pleasant surroundings overlooking the garden. Stayed at the hotel often and it continues to meet my expectations. Not modern typical New Forest and comfortable.
Bartley Lodge is an elegant Grade II listed building surrounded by 8 acres of grounds. Meals in its AA Rosette-awarded restaurant are created using local produce.
Mortimer Arms Inn is located in Romsey within the New Forest. This traditional inn has a bar and a restaurant with a patio.

Friendly staff, good room, wide choice of food for lunch and dinner, excellent breakfast, ideally situated just off M27 and for visits to the New Forest, lovely Romsey Abbey, and beautiful Salisbury.

The Lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious & decorated very tastefully. Extra large deck overlooking a wildlife lake with Duck & Swan food provided. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome.
Great communication from the lodge hosts & reasonably priced for such a lovely place to stay.
Will definitely re-book when we return to England.

Spotless room, fridge provided fantastic especially if you have children. Plenty of hot water for showers. Air con and heater in the room. Microwave and toaster in the common room to make your own breakfast (shop 10min away) little noisy as the people above did stamp around not the hotels fault. Easy assess parking was great. Great location and a fantastic curry house next door. Lovely pub 2 min away the landlord poacher. Lovely staff very helpful

The facilities were good & clean & the staff were pleasant & helpful. There were no breakfast facilities but the very local garden centre compensated for that shortfall. The Indian restaurant next door was also a good 'shout'. If planning to eat (& drink) further afield, suggest booking a local taxi firm BEFORE you visit......

We stayed in Landford as a base to visit the New Forest by car. Landford Garden Centre, just a 10 minute walk, served a good choice of breakfast and was very tasty. Also the food at Royal Jaipur Indian restaurant next door to Forest Lodge was very good. Forest Lodge was also a short drive to several good pub/restaurants.

Good location, rooms were clean and comfortable. It is situated on a busy road so traffic can be noisy but that didn't worry us. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a lovely Pub within walking distance.

On the edge of the New Forest with plenty of lovely walks locally and further afield. Plenty of other things to do & see like Salisbury Cathedral & Beaulieu Motor Museum to name a couple. Car is recommended to make the most of your stay.
the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed in!
comfortable and air con as well as a heater provided. nice cool room very quite we didn’t hear the road when we shut the windows. great location for us 30 min from the beach. perfect for a little family brake the curry house next door was so nice too as we didn’t feel like going out to eat on our second night so we had a take away and ate in the little common area at the hotel. lovely local pub the poacher a 2 min walk. all round a great little place to stay and we will be back.
Very lovely friendly staff especially on reception and the hotel for us is perfectly located for visiting family so ideal. The price is reasonable and the is a room nice size with a good bathroom.
With the New Forest on your doorstep, Salisbury down the road and an Indian restaurant next door with off road parking it suits us well and we have stayed before and will again.
It was very central to where we were visiting, price and amenities were excellent and we ended up staying another night, due to a promotion on Booking.com. The Manager was very helpful with Hotels, tourist places and shops nearby. There was an Indian Restaurant next door which we patronised and was impressed.
Room was everything we needed as well as exceptionally clean & comfortable. Late arrival was easy & safe - parking at front of hotel, well lit. Excellent location for Peppa pig world. Owner went out her way to put up travel cot & gave us extra water after a long day. Microwave in hotel reception added bonus.
A lovely B&B with a very comfortable room - comfortable bed and nice shower and a lovely welcoming ladylady.It was short but sweet stay as we were only there one might.
I also recommend the local pub Landford Poacher for something to eat. Excellent 😃
The location was really good and the hotel keeper/host was absolutely incredible. She talked to us everyday and when we locked our key in the room she came with a spare key in five minutes.
Clean , quiet and comfortable, my family had a lovely nights sleep in comfy clean room , even the bed was well above the quality than any of the big name hotels . We will be back!
