Hotel were good. Helpful and polite. We booked an over night stay but couldn’t arrive until 6.30pm 30mins before the pool closed to children at 7pm. The gym team were brilliant and rushed us through because they could see my 6 year old itching to get in the pool in time. Thank you

The Duke of York is a lovely place to stay.

The Duke of York is a lovely place to stay. The new owner is a nice man who made us feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean. The only drawback with any room at the front is noise from the main road outside. The bar area was warm and welcoming, with really nice beer at good prices. We would definitely stay there again, but probably ask for an option of a room at the rear.

    Room was great. Very comfortable.

Room was great. Very comfortable. Would have liked breakfast to be available, but I knew it wasn't when booked, therefore not a disappointment of the booking,as there is a place nearby that provides the service. I loved the kettle/tea/coffee in the room. Cleaning staff was polite and respectful. Bar/reception staff were polite/informative and welcoming. Would stay again.
