Quirky, clean, comfy bed & bedding , friendly, authentic, good food, nice staff (especially chef who checked me in despite my being early. Was worried when I arrived & everything was locked up. I was surprised that check in was 5 - I was planning on checking in at 3 then going to NEC) anyway he was nice & helpful. Loved the beer garden - adorable. Room was small & facilities limited & bit cramped but was good value & very nice. I’ll come again

Stylish calm comfort, combined with its excellent location, made this an ideal stopover before & after our holiday. Rooms were clean and well appointed - especially impressed with the iron and full size ironing board! The restaurant is exactly that, "restaurant quality", having a good range of options expertly cooked and beautifully presented, the scallops & beef cheeks were particularly delicious, with a wine list to match. The staff were efficient, helpful & nothing was too much trouble particularly at dinner when Senura and Gairuka's cheerful and friendly service made us feel at ease and if this restaurant was on our local high street we would be regular customers!
The elegant 4-star Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC is set in landscaped grounds and is 0.4 mile to the Resorts World Arena and the NEC.

I needed a place to stay after an event in Birmingham. I was traveling with two children so wanted to avoid city centre hotels on a busy Saturday night. Crowne Plaza NEC/Resorts World was easy to get to and we were able to park right outside. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel is modern and smart. Our room felt a little dated in comparison but it was quiet and fine as a base. Birmingham International train station was a 10min walk away. Breakfast was a pretty standard hotel buffet. The cooked food was nice and hot, and kids had plenty to choose from.
Located in the heart of England, the Holiday Inn Express Birmingham NEC is just a 5-minute drive from the National Exhibition Centre and Resorts World Birmingham.

Nice bedroom and a good private bathroom with an excellent shower. The hotel has a bar which it needs as there is no eating or drinking facilities in the immediate area. The barman, Andreas, was very polite and friendly.
Strawberry Bank is a homely hotel and restaurant in picturesque Meriden, near Coventry. The NEC, Birmingham International Airport and the M42 are less than 5 minutes away.

1. Super friendly staff.
2. Superb location
3. Beautiful view from my room
Within a few miles to the NEC centre and airport.
Check in was easy and a short walk across a garden patio area to the bar from our room.
A good selection of drinks in the bar that was warm and inviting. A good pub menu to finish the day with nice staff.
The full English that was included in the price was excellent, setting us up for the day ahead. I would definitely stay here again as it had everything needed for an overnight stay.

The charming village was a great place to stay for the course I was on. The digs were within a few hundred yards of the station to Birmingham, which was only 3 stops away and has a free car park. I would not have known, however, when I booked, that it was so readily accessible by train from the centre Birmingham. I think they should advertise that feature.
I was busy on a course, and it was bitterly cold out, so I did not visit any tourist sites as I had no free time until the morning I left, when I took a quick and easy trip to the town centre by train to see the famous Museum of Art.......which was closed for a refurb! (Jan 2022) A good excuse to visit again!

We normally stay in a local hotel during an annual business trip this hotel wasn’t available … I found Hampton manor on booking .com we will not be returning to the other hotel after finding this wonderful hotel , staff were super friendly , food was amazing and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
easy to find, easy free parking, great location for attending a wedding at Hampton Manor, the apartment was beautifully furnished - like staying at a new hotel but with all the niceties of staying at a friends flat, owner has gone above and beyond.
characterful hotel within 3 minutes train ride to Birmingham International for the same money as a large chain hotel on the NEC site. The staff are friendly
and welcoming and the breakfast is excellent.
This is the perfect and better alternative to hotels. Immaculately clean and exceptionally comfortable. easy to get to the station and a short walk into the village. cannot fault it.
Gorgeous room, food and staff. It's on the expensive side, but would go back. Lovely hotel menu available if you don't wish to dine in the restaurants.
