Good room, good beer, good staff. Pint glasses with a handle. I don't use Wetherspoons in Blackpool, because you refuse to put any in any one of the three
The Fryatt Hotel & Bar is located between Harwich International Port and Harwich Town Station, 1.5 miles from the town centre. It features its own pub serving classic ales.

Felixstowe has a really good promenade giving access from Langaurd Point to Old Felixstowe and beyond via a short beech walk to the Ferry Boat Inn. The prom also gives access to a good range of cafe, bar and eating establishments, the spa Pavilion being well worth a visit, the town itself is but a short walk from the pier and has a pleasant pedestrian only high street

Although the weather was less than kind, my stay was pleasant and comfortable. The Great Orwell Hotel was the ideal venue for my need to be near the centre of town and close to the seafront for a bracing morning walk.

Felixstowe has something for everyone.
Felixstowe has something for everyone. There is a great mix of shops - chains and independents. The beaches are clean with decent facilities and amusements. The Dock end has the fort and museum with the excellent cafe. The amusement arcades are generally clean and varied with fast foods between. The pier has the obligatory slot machines with a cafe and food kiosks near the leisure centre. Old Felixstowe has quieter beaches and a large carpark. The ferry end is quieter but charming.
What we don't enjoy...the bumpy, bouncy roads and the ban on motorhomes in most of the car parks.
This is a slightly dated but magnificent hotel and I would ignore any criticism or critical comments. The room was adequate and clean and breakfast provided a large degree of choice. The reception staff and serving staff were extremely polite and efficient.
I have stayed in 3-5 star hotels throughout the world and find for £116 for a two night stop in a nice seaside resort which includes breakfast in a 3 star hotel to be fantastic value. It’s located within easy walking distance of the railway station and high street.
The girls on reception were so friendly and worked hard to accommodate my partner and I with our baby by providing a travel cot and giving us one of the larger double rooms on the ground floor.
The room was a really good size and was clean.
It was only a short walk to both the beach and the town centre
There was free parking
We had everything we needed and we were very happy with it. We will book one of the bigger rooms again on our next trip to felixtowe
After being in such a bad hotel which I left with 3 days left. I booked this lovely place it was cosy, and the bed was really comfy. The view was great, and Donna was very nice.I didn't realise the tv only had bbc, iplayer, and your own netflix. I kept searching, and Donna explained as I thought it had gone wrong, just me, though, lol
We had a room only arrangement as we were meeting friends, so didn't get the chance to experience any of the other facilities. The room itself was one of the suites, which was very nice. Everything is a little dated but seems to fit in nicely with the faded splendour of this Victorian hotel. It was good value for money.
The hotel maintains his historic charms whilst being modernised and well appointed. The feature wall and soft furnishings in the bedrooms make the bedrooms feel luxurious. The staff are friendly and welcoming making our stay a pleasure.
We really enjoyed our stay in this pleasantly presented flat close to the shops and beach. Felixstowe is a great little town, too.
Thanks very much to the owner for the thoughtful gift of bread, crisps and biccies on arrival.
That it was very buateful hotel but the prices were fair and the staff when out of there Way to make one feel very comfortable all the amenities were just in walking distance.one mile and your on the Beach.the bathroom loch.
The caravan was very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, bathroom and balcony area, there was everything you could need.
There were games and dvds to use which were very welcome.
All info was clear and helpful.
Beautiful apartment with nice partial view of the ocean. Easy walkability in great area for walks along the beach and near a park. Perfect for children.
