My bed was incredibly comfy and i slept like a log.
Didn't use the shower facilities but it liked like good roomy shower
Bar staff on an evening were great.
Direct access to the hotel from the car park was a plus - would have been nice to get a small discount from the ibis.

The is also another pub in the village, the Three Horseshoes, a locals pub, good beer but no food.

Hard to believe it is so close to Northampton. In spite of being next to the A4500 I never heard the vehicles and wasnt disturbed.
