Literally. Everything. From the warm welcome and ambience to the incredibly beautiful rooms - it was impeccable. The food, both dinner and breakfast were insane. Highly recommend the Tarte Tatin - I'd go back just for this! I honestly cannot recommend Duncombe Arms enough, I wanted to sign up to become a live in resident. I didnt want to leave. I will definitely be back, and will be recommending to anyone and everyone!

Callow Hall is a gorgeous historic property, the styling is immaculate and immediately creates a relaxing and welcoming environment. We decided to stay in one of the Hives and I’m so glad we did, Rosebay was situated in the middle of the woods next to the hotel and the views of the countryside and bluebells were beautiful and calming. The food and drink was also excellent. The staff were professional but laid back. We can’t recommend highly enough!

The Dog and Partridge is a 17th-century inn just a 10-minute drive from Alton Towers, situated on the edge of the idyllic Peak District with countryside views.
Spectacular countryside on the doorstep. Just a short drive to Ashbourne, a small town with interesting shops. Anayas restaurant (Bangladeshi) was fantastic. Nearby villages of Ilam and Parwich worth a visit - verry pretty.
Kedleston hall (NT), is a modest drive away, lots to see and do and good for afternoon tea.
