Excellent location. Great food, atmosphere and friendly staff.
Our room had a view of Byland Abbey, which is beautiful.
Our room had a view of Byland Abbey, which is beautiful. Set in beautiful countryside and parts of the building dating back to the time the Abbey was built apparently (12th century).
Helpful staff, plenty of space in the Inn to roam around, have a drink etc. Outside tables and garden ares too. Plenty of parking available.

It's a beautiful village. Friendly people.
It's a beautiful village. Friendly people. I should have found out more about public transport so a car is useful if you're not a walker, paricularly if you want to go a bit further afield. There are lots of attractions in the area. However Byland Abbey is well worth the walk and the Coxwold Tea rooms are excellent - go and sit in the garden if the sun is out! The Fauconbrg pub serves excellent food and St Michael's church is worth a walk round.
Lovely place but needs some real TLC . Room did not match up to photos on the web site which was a real shame . Breakfast was faultless and staff were really good . Hotel just needs a bit of love . No milk in the room ,window propped open with plastic coat hanger and wardrobe untidy . The price was acceptable if the room was how it should be . Obviously just dressed for photo shoot easily remedied .
Unique and beautiful location, nice informal feel, very good food and good sized room with great decor. Local area fantastic, near so many beautiful places including the abbey itself. Very good breakfast and dinners (pub food but very high quality).
Staff were helpful and friendly, would definitely stay again. A real gem.
Location was great for the Abby and other places of interest... this hotel as so much potential I really hope they up their game. I know in the present climate lack of staff may be an issue and we could forgive a couple of things but it just wasn't worth £150.
Coxwold is a beautiful small village, it is very picturesque and was the perfect location for exploring Yorkshire. The Falconberg is a lovely quaint village pub with lots of charm. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice.
Coxwold and Rumah Home are beautiful, and the "secret garden" behind the property, where we had afternoon tea, was a lovely retreat. We booked two rooms: the double was spacious and both rooms were well appointed.
The hotel is in a superb location and the food is excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and obliging nothing was too much trouble, unfortunately, there was little evidence of any form of training.
Everything.the meals we had were beautiful.very welcoming.beautiful setting in the coxwold .this is my 2nd visit .l would highly recommend this place to anyone .thank you for our lovely stay .
