Darren was fatastic before stay with queries. Made arrangemnts for breakfast and some takeaway sandwiches to be provided since we were up early. Good comms in build up and during stay.
Fountain Cottage Cafe and B&B is offering accommodation in Bellingham. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.

The facilities were very good but the WiFi went down which was not the fault of the proprietors, it was a BT issue. I enjoyed my stay which is just as well because it was expensive to be honest, at least twice as expensive of where I normally stay in the same area. The food was ok but nothing special in my opinion and again quite expensive. To be fair the room I occupied was the most expensive due to there being no others available and it was lovely. Would I use this place again? Yes if there was no alternative. By the way the staff were very good, excellent in fact. And the locals are great people.

Would recommend the Otterburn Mill Shop and Café (and particularly its homemade sausage rolls) if you're looking for a quick bite to eat and cup of tea. And had a great meal at Pleased to Meet You in Morpeth - would highly recommend if you're in the town and looking for somewhere to have a meal.

Really beautiful unspoilt area with lots of gentle walks and aways friendly and helpful responses from local inhabitants to our queries. Great NT houses nearby. Kielder Forest good for cycling and walking. Towns such as Corbridge and Hexham full of character.
