There is quite a bit of history to Corby if you are prepared to walk about the old town with its quaint old buildings and take the time to read the various notice boards of a heritage nature. The central park and boating lake are well worth a walk round and there is an excellent cafe with a varied menu next to the lake. Nearby you have Rockingham Castle and gardens ( entry charge applicable ) and Kirby Hall( English Heritage ) both well worth a visit. A little farther north there is Rutland Water with its boat trips and watersports areas and the old market town of Oakham nearby.

We had wonderful staff and they were amazing ,especially Melissa who went above and beyond for me,on the night and she’s such a lovely girl.
A cooked breakfast isn’t available,we only found this out on the day of check in that a continental breakfast was the only selection...
I would have liked a bigger selection for the continental breakfast ,it wasn’t well stocked,my guests were disappointed, and hungry,
although we did leave to have a breakfast at a local weatherspoons

Hotel was too far outside the town centre.
Hotel was too far outside the town centre. To walk to the centre was 40 minutes. Nothing much to do around Corby. Had to rely on transport from my friends.
I wouldn't be in a hurry to return to Corby. I will be staying in Northampton 30 minutes drive away or in Birmingham 1 hour drive away next time.

Corby is more or less an industrial place.
Corby is more or less an industrial place. There is absolutely no interesting points in the town itself, apart from an incredible skatepark, Europe`s largest. Nevertheless, there are many interesting sights in driving distance. The small villages in the area are just adorable.

This hotel is ideally located when we're visiting nearby family. This is our 4th/5th visit now. It's unusual for us to have any negative feedback.
But we still love the pool & Spa area. Great to be able to go for a swim before breakfast.
Had a great night's sleep. Very comfortable bed & remembered to turn the aircon this time.
Great bathroom too with lovely fluffy towels
Could check in and leave when I wanted, many thanks to Barry and Diane. Nice and quiet location, betwixt Kettering and Corby. Milk/butter/coffee/tea and a loaf of bread provided by hosts.
Proximity to town centre, great value for money. Lovely big room with massive comfy bed and a great bath. Nice and quiet and restaurant was good next door.
